About On the Rocks
On the Rocks is a restaurant on Albert Street in Rugby where diners cook their own meat on a hot stone at the table. The small room runs on a reservations required basis, and the hot stone cooking produces smoke at the table as each cut is finished by the diner. The kitchen centres on steak, with lava stone used for cooking the meat to taste. Weekdays tend to be quieter than busier evenings, and the Albert Street location has plenty of nearby parking.

“Magnificent. A truly exceptional experience. Cooking the meat yourself is a great idea and perfect for date night. The meat itself is delicious and clearly of high quality and the sides and sauces are great as well. Staff we're polite and attentive and while its not cheap you get what you pay for. Not suitable for little ones and I wouldn't wear your sunday best as the meat spits a bit while cooking. But if your looking for something a bit different in an intimate setting, this is the place. Its a small restaurant so booking is a must but its not very busy on a weekday.”
