“I ordered a Chicken Katsu Don unfortunately when it arrived there was no poached egg anywhere not even mixed in !... Such a shame would have made this dish not so very dry. I called the restaurant straight away and was told that they mix the egg into the meal whilst cooking maybe they need to update the picture on the menu to show and say No Poached egg on top...!! Gutted.”

The service is wonderful, the food is just delicious, and feels so authentic and the atmosphere is so refreshing and unique ; it’s both homely and buzzing at the same time. There’s no other restaurant in Rugby that we would rather spend an evening. It’s simply the best. 🫶🏼🍱”

“What appears to be a small dark shop door openings into a bustling, warm environment with attentive staff, an intriguing menu and delicious food. Every part of every course was a taste experience and all served piping hot. Our server offered advice which was gratefully received and Anthony proved to be a charming host. We only travel to Rugby once a year but we're already planning what to have in 2027. This place is a gem.”
