Customer Review Summary
Thai crispy beef is the dish reviewers name most, called a repeat favourite by a regular of over ten visits and "quite nice" with a good beef ratio by a more lukewarm diner. Close behind are the chilli squid and Singapore noodles, both called excellent, and a bottomless brunch where the triple chocolate mojito stood out and an upgrade brought a good variety of cocktails. Many praise the friendly service, with servers and the manager looking after special occasions and a child's birthday, and the marina views from a table overlooking the water. The complaints are specific. One reviewer describes waiting a long time downstairs while the upstairs sat half empty, then a long gap before a small, reheated-tasting satay chicken starter and a massaman beef that was mostly sauce and onions with fatty, dry meat. Another found the pad see ew flat and the gai yang underwhelming, and one felt the table for two sat too close to the next. A set menu lunch was described as very reasonably priced, with the reviewer choosing indoor air conditioning over the outside seating.

“Great Thai restaurant with fantastic food and excellent service. Every dish was full of flavour, and the staff were friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout our visit. The only slight downside was that our table for two was very close to another table for two, so it felt a little cramped and made conversation less private. Overall, a great dining experience, and we’d happily return.”

“We had a special occasion dinner and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, taken care of and special. The restaurant was quiet and we were sat at a nice table overlooking the water. Service was well timed and very friendly given by the manager Adrienn. The food was fresh, delicious and the flavours were perfect on all three courses. Cocktails were also refreshing and beautifully presented. We had an excellent meal and thank the whole front and back of house team for such a great experience.”

“A first-rate restaurant in every aspect. The food, it's presentation and service were of the highest quality. We had lunch from the set menu which was very reasonably priced. An outside seating area overlooking the marina is available, we took advantage of the indoor air conditioning however.”

“I had a brilliant dining experience at Koh Thai! The location is absolutely gorgeous, offering an airy, relaxed vibe with lovely views right over the marina. Poon the server made sure all our request were looked after . She made us feel very comfortable. All in all a fantastic time here.”

“Had some great food here last night. The chilli squid and Singapore noodles were excellent. The only thing to match it was the really friendly service from Poon and Jeremy, I couldn’t have felt more welcome. Great place”
