  “If you are anywhere close to Porthmadog, and you are looking for the best fish and chip shop in the area, here it is. Incredible menu and most of it cooked fresh and it shows. We had fish, chips and peas. The portions are big unless you ask for a small one. The cod was cooked perfectly, the chips crunchy with a fluffy centre, the peas full of flavour. There are 2 tables and chair sets outside the shop, or you can picnic in the church grounds 20 yards away. I cannot recommend them highly enough, we are regularly finding our way there from Cheshire near J17 of the M6. Fantastic food, but don't take my word for it...”

  “On holiday in Porthmadog and after checking local websites for fish and chips this place came out tops. A constant queue, but fast moving. Locals chatty. Staff helpful. Fish and chips perfectly cooked and very tasty. We had a fish each, very reasonably priced and a large chips between 3 of us and although we have good appetites perhaps too many. Worth the drive over. Highly recommend.”
