Quick info
About Three Flames
Three Flames is a steak house and bar in Ossett, at 270 Wakefield Rd, where the steaks are cooked over live flame. The starter is an onion flower, which gives the table something to share before the mains. The steak choices include a T-bone and a tomahawk, and the kitchen cooks each to the doneness the diner asks for. Chunky chips come alongside the steaks. A bar sits next to the dining side of the business. Reservations are required.

Customer Review Summary
Steak is the draw most reviewers return to, with a rare T bone cooked as requested, a tomahawk and a kids' menu steak all named, and one diner calling it melt in the mouth with delicious sauces. Close behind are the onion flower, which one family says the kids love, alongside halloumi fries and a prawn starter, and the lamb shank, described as falling from the bone with rich mash. The baklava and the 3 Flames salad also earn praise. Staff are repeatedly called welcoming and attentive without hovering, and the live flame cooking and elegant atmosphere come up for special occasions. The caveats are specific. One reviewer says it gets very loud when busy, and on several visits a booked table was not ready on time. Another found the lads working there tense and in need of more enthusiasm. Birthday and anniversary diners close on the small touches: a complimentary dessert with "Happy Anniversary" written on the plate, and a birthday cheesecake with a sparkler candle.

“The 3 flames is a lovely well decorated restaurant. The staff are very attentive and the food is amazing! The baklava is to die for! We have been several times now and have enjoyed it each time. I will say that when the restaurant is busy, it is very loud. So conversations are great! Plus, we have always booked a table and on several occasions the table hasn't been ready at the time we've booked.”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We came to Three Flames for our first wedding anniversary meal and honestly couldn’t have chosen a better place! ❤️ The food was absolutely amazing and the service from start to finish was brilliant — everyone was so welcoming and attentive. What made it even more special was when they surprised us with a complimentary dessert with “Happy Anniversary” written on the plate. 🥹 Such a lovely little touch that we really weren’t expecting and it made the evening feel even more special. Beautiful food, fantastic service and such a lovely atmosphere. We had the best evening and will 100% be returning! 🥂❤️”
