  “Excellent evening meal from the starters to desserts. Couldn't fault anything and I can highly recommend the butchers block sharer there was plenty for 2 people. Our waiter Will was very helpful and knowledgeable on both food and drink recommendations and very attentive without being intrusive during the meal even though it was very busy.”

  “We went for a Father’s Day meal for our first time. We were served by Olivia who was lovely and extremely professional. The food was beautiful. Very reasonable prices too! We will definitely be back soon.”

  “Food was lovely. However, for the price and reputation of M&C the staff and weird service rules let them down. If you sat outside you had to keep ordering drinks and food at the bar. Yet when it hit 6pm, new customers were seated and table service was then available. Ruins the experience, having to get up every time and wait for your drink. It was a birthday meal for my partner and we spent half the time separately ordering and waiting. Cutlery wasn’t given before our meals arrived either, then had to sit and wait with our food getting cold, as the waiter forgot. Just rubbish customer service for this type of restaurant. Would try another branch, but won’t return to this one.”

  “40 yrs ago today, we held our Wedding reception here. We thought it would be a nice thing to do, to return today. We were not disappointed. The place is different, but still wonderful. Food was outstanding. Our Waitress was Nici. She was truly superb. Attentive, but not overpowering. Helpful but not overly fussy. In fact the perfect waitress with the perfect demeanor. Went above and beyond by taking a portrait photo of us two as a memento. Thankyou Nici. Thankyou all- for a wonderful memorable evening. We shall return !”

  “Enjoyed a great meal when we visited this branch to celebrate a family members birthday on Saturday evening. The food was great and Mia who was attending to our table was so helpful and attentive not rushing us at all and went out of her way to ensure we had a great evening. Thank you so much.”

  “This was our 2 years anniversary and the food was amazing, polite server and staff alike, the mocktails were so good. We would recommend these for anyone to try. Will will go again YES. this is our forth Miller & Carter we have tried now and it hasn't been disappointing at all.”

  “Had an amazing birthday meal with my family. We were served by Mia who said she was quite new but was knowledgeable and friendly, and couldnt do anymore for us, making sure we had everything we needed and that all of the food was cooked to our preferences. The king prawns were absolutely beautiful, as were the steaks. There was wheelchair access for my dad, and all staff were helpful and attentive throughout our visit. My only complaint would be that the music was very loud, but we were sat close to the speaker. Thank you, we will be back soon!”

  “Beautiful food (if not a little hefty on price but it's a celebration kind of a place!) The waiting staff were a little sullen and not very on it with water for the table or extra drinks. I had medium rare sirloin steak. Honestly the best I have ever had and the fried onion slab that came with it was way too good (ended up eating my wife's and step daughters! 🐖! Would definitely recommend for a special occasion. you do need to call to book a table even on mid week as they are extremely busy, but now I know why. Amy”
