  “it was an okay outcome but i asked for a detailed nail design and the owner said £60 but another said £65. i changed the design and it was £55 but very simple. i thought it was going to be clean and not SLOPPY instead they rushed it with an attitude and were speaking about me poorly to another employee. the outcome was sloppy close up and i had nail polish along my whole hand and they were horrible and uneven. they also got mad when you tried to correct their mistakes eg. make the nail shorter or change the colour. it wouldn’t even be that bad if it wasnt £55 bloody pounds. NEVER going again.”

  “Been going to these for years since when they had there previous nail bar in Nottingham city centre. I have never had a bad experience always happy with the outcome of my nails. The only negative I would say is if you agree on an appointment time to someone then they should not be expected to wait especially when it is the first slot of the day as nobody seemed to be aware of mine yesterday and another curstomer was very rude to me telling me you cannot make appointments here and I should of waited at the door from 8.45am to be seen too when in actual fact I have always had appointments made and you do not even open untill 9.30am.”

  “Really poor quality now, compared to how it’s used to be, the main issue is they rush, so the quality is poor. I had my finger nipped and it was bleeding when I left but no discount, the gel came off on holiday and despite messaging them to tell them this they said one nail wasn’t a reason to have a full pedicure re done, despite the fact I was on holiday and wouldn’t need just one nail on my return, absolutely rubbish and have lost what they had 😞”

  “Awful service, horrible staff and horrible outcome!! Paid £40 for a pedicure, without gel nail polish, absolute rip off! The man doing the pedicure was rude and had a bad attitude. He messed up by hitting the nail drying machine on my nails then blamed it on me and got moody when I asked if it could be fixed. Sat in the chair for 45 minutes waiting for them to dry only for them to mess up again. My nails were also filed uneven and the nail polish is all over the place. Rang them to tell them how messed up they were and asked for them to fix my nails or give me a refund to which the lady on the phone hung up on me! Do not recommend at all. Much better quality and service over at nail boutique across the road from these guys.”

  “TExtremely Disappointing Experience – Lack of Care and Quality I had a deeply disappointing experience with my nails today. I went in with a clear vision, even showing a picture of what I wanted, but what I received was nowhere near the expected result. During the process, I expressed my concerns and asked, “Is this the base colour?” I was reassured with a “don’t worry, it’s not finished yet,” so I decided to trust the process. However, when Tracey started applying the ombré, I remained quiet, not wanting to be told again that it wasn’t done yet. I assumed the shape and quality would improve as they continued – unfortunately, it didn’t. While I appreciated the way my nails were trimmed and shaped, the final result was absolutely awful. I kindly expressed my dissatisfaction and asked for a discount, explaining that I would need to get them redone elsewhere. They refused outright. I paid the full amount for nails I was extremely unhappy with, and it was clear they were more concerned with getting my money than ensuring I left satisfied. As a private hairstylist myself, I know how important it is to make sure clients are happy, and I would never let someone leave feeling this way. Surely, they knew the result wasn’t up to par. To make matters worse, I left the salon in tears as I was heading to a two-day wedding and had no time to get them fixed. I called back later to voice my frustration, but was only offered the option to come back to have them fixed – no refunds. Given their lack of care, I didn’t feel comfortable returning, so I ended up paying to have them fixed elsewhere. This experience was extremely upsetting and unprofessional. I’ve attached pictures as reference to show how poor the result was.”

  “My mum and I tried Aquarius nails for the first time yesterday and we’re both really happy that we did. We went for a very simple gel and French polish which was very quick. We didn’t have to wait to be seated and the team kindly reshuffled the seats so we could sit together. My mum has sensitive nails and the lady was very gentle. The team here are really friendly so I would definitely recommend. The price is really reasonable and we will definitely be returning. Thank you!”

  “Myself and my daughter went to have gel nails done here today - first time for both of us. I thought the staff were friendly and courteous and they did a great job. They listened to what we both wanted and we are both very happy. The staff do talk a lot amongst themselves when they are working but that didn’t bother me at all. The lady who did my nails answered any questions I had and was lovely. We will definitely go back.”

  “I've only ever had my nails done once, about three years ago. I decided I wanted to treat myself and my friends recommended Aquarius. The staff were friendly and efficient, they did a complete set of acrylics in about 35/40 minutes and checked I was happy at every stage. Really pleased 🌟 This cost me about £28 with a student discount of 10% ☺️”
