Customer Review Summary
Burgers are the main draw, with a returning diner naming the bacon cheeseburger and others calling them fresh, hot and bigger than the pictures suggest. Milkshakes come close behind, and one reviewer was given a free one after a size mix-up. Cajun fries, loaded fries with crispy onions and sauces, unlimited cherry coke from the fountain and a tub of peanuts while the food is prepared also earn mentions, as does a breakfast bacon, egg and cheese sandwich with crispy bacon. Staff are described as friendly and helpful with the menu. Price is the recurring trade-off. Several call it expensive, though they say the quality matches it, and one notes service is not always fast. Others mention music that was too loud downstairs and toilets that need a code printed on the receipt. The sharpest complaint comes from a diner who ordered Hawkstone beer, was handed alcohol free bottles with no mention on the ordering machine, and was refused a refund because the bottles had already been opened.

“Bought 2 burgers and fries with a Hawkstone beer. All good. Food fine. Ordered 2 more beers and was given alcohol free. The order machine had zero mention of it being alcohol free. Took them back and explained this isn't what I ordered (literally not even an option to order them) and that the previous ones had been normal. Worker then said they don't sell alcoholic ones and refused a refund because he'd opened them before giving them to me. Worker then refused to give me a contact number or email for customer services. This is massively misleading and there's not a chance I would have spent that much on alcohol free beer. Poor practice to open these drinks before I'm given them, and then being told they won't refund because they're open! 28/06/2026, Order #110”

“Great food. Possibly the best burger from a "fast food" restaurant ive tried. There is a saying "you get what you pay for" in this case it's true. Milkshake was great. We even got a free one because of a slight mess up in the size. In a word.. Superb.”

“I had a great experience at Five Guys. The food was fresh, hot, and really hit the spot.Madi was really nice and welcoming. She had a great attitude and made the visit even better. The manager, Alex, was professional and kept everything running smoothly. Great service overall — I’ll definitely be back!”

“My absolute favourite burger place! The burgers are delicious, the menu can be a little confusing to the uninitiated but the staff are very helpful and point people in the right direction. Cajun fries, unlimited cherry coke, a tub of peanuts to eat whilst your food is prepared in front of your eyes. My doughter had the loaded fries with crispy onions, sauces and lots of toppings, they were super tasty. It might seem a little expensive compared to other fast food outlets but here you really do get what you pay for! The burgers are bigger and better than the pictures show. If you’re in Nottingham for the Christmas market, do yourself a favour go here instead of the overpriced vendors in the sq.”

“Burgers are tasty, freshly made and handed with a smile by the beautiful staff - shoutout to the two lovely staff who was working there Thursday 15 May 2025 around 11.14pm as you two were holding down the fort so well given the crazy wildlife (drunks and dramatics throughout the night) lol. Will be back again for sure! Their milkshakes stole the show absolutely top tier 😍”
