Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often return to the sausage rolls, described as huge, with the chutney ones called divine and one diner naming them the best they have had. Coffee comes close behind, with praise for great lattes and a very large mug of hot coffee, including a soya latte that stays hot to the last mouthful. Lunch specials and good portion sizes at reasonable prices also get mentions. Many describe a quiet, calm, safe space where mental wellbeing is key, with friendly staff, a pretty garden, and a pay it forward scheme that lets customers buy a coffee for someone who needs it. One parent appreciates that it is breastfeeding and baby friendly, and that staff help with buggies up the step. The main complaint comes from one reviewer who took toddlers and says a woman from reception tried to make the group leave several times and answered "if you're not happy, just leave" when asked about keeping the volume down. Bathrooms are called spotless, and a few reviewers note that only card payment is taken.

“Never felt so unwelcome in a cafe. If you’re planning to go with children, just don’t. We popped in yesterday and the lady in the reception tried to make us leave several times. She came into the cafe to tell us to keep the volume down, we said we’d try our best but very difficult with toddlers and she answered back “if you’re not happy, just leave” incredibly rude.”

“Lovely quiet place to meet friends. Staff are welcoming and it's a nice safe space. Sadly the weather was cold and didn't get to see the garden. Will next time though”
