Customer Review Summary
Coffee is the most frequent draw, with reviewers praising the lovely range of choices and the quality of both coffee and tea. Food sits close behind, led by the homemade beans with poached egg, the avocado halloumi roll, avocado toast and the Skandi Avo, while the pistachio croissant and pancakes, including the Fluffy Banoffee, are also called delicious. One reviewer likes the haggis crumb with breakfast. Staff come up repeatedly as friendly and welcoming, and several say that held true even when the room was very busy. Portions are described as generous and filling. The caveats are small: one diner was not sure about the homemade baked beans on a full breakfast, and one reviewer mentions hearing people call the place pricy. Several suggest booking ahead. One reviewer thanks the cafe for accommodating gluten free, lactose free and no nightshades requests.

“We came across this cosy place and were very lucky to find a table (would absolutely recommend booking). The homemade beans with poached egg was delicious and the pistachio croissant was a big hit too, tea & coffee were both a lovely quality. It was very busy, yet the staff managed to maintain a cosy & welcoming atmosphere.”

“What a gem! Found the cafe online this morning - great reviews and number one pick for breakfast. Location, service and food was absolutely delicious! Fantastic food, refreshing drinks menu and kids breakfast too. Almost stopped at the many places we walked past, but so glad we didn't. Pleasantly surprised and will be returning here again tomorrow and our future stays in Newquay :)”
