About SeaSpray Fistral
SeaSpray Fistral is a cafe in Newquay on Esplanade Rd, built into the rocks on Fistral Beach, so a table comes with views over the beach and the ocean. The kitchen serves breakfast and lunch. Morning plates include a Full English, with a smaller English breakfast for lighter appetites, and pancakes come with bacon and maple syrup or as pistachio pancakes. Shakshuka and a pulled pork toasty cover the savoury side later in the day. Coffee and cakes run alongside the meals. The cafe is small, and queues can form later in the morning. It opens for daytime hours only, Wednesday to Sunday, and closes on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Customer Review Summary
Pancakes are the dish reviewers raise most, with the pistachio pancakes called the best one reviewer has had and others praising the pancakes at breakfast, while the kids' order of pancakes with bacon and maple syrup also gets a mention. Close behind are the full English, noted for quality ingredients and portion size, the small English breakfast, a pulled pork toasty recommended for lunch, and a shakshuka one diner calls the best they have had. Reviewers consistently describe the staff as friendly and helpful, and the ocean view over Fistral Beach comes up repeatedly. Some mention coffee, a cake after lunch, indoor and outdoor seating, and a dog friendly setup with water bowls and a doggy menu. The one caveat is size: a reviewer notes the café is quite small and can become very busy, and arriving around 10 am came before people started queuing. One reviewer says the staff made a wife's 40th birthday breakfast one to remember.

“Amazing place Just nestled in the rocks on fistrel beach. Customer service very friendly soon as I walked in. The owner couldn't have helped more. Food was very nice and you can tell it was cooked with passion. Overall 10/10. I will be back. 💯”

“We came here twice during our vacation. The first time we had the very delicious pancakes and the second time we chose the small english breakfast. Both time we arrived at around 10 am which was early enough before people started queuing. The view is great, the café can become very busy as it is quite small. But we liked both visits and hope to come back here one day.”

“Great Place to eat. Super friendly polite and helpful staff. Good choice on the menu for a lunch stop. Highly recommend the pulled pork toasty. Our kids loved the pancakes, bacon and maple syrup. All of the staff couldn’t be more helpful and we went during May half term and there was plenty of room and no waiting time. From me and my family we would like to thank you for great visit.”
