The curries are consistently delicious, the mixed tandoori box is perfect, and everything is packed well with no mistakes. Reliable, tasty, and great every time!”

  “My friends and I just had a curry from the Hungry Elephant and it was AMAZING. They catered to my allergies which is dairy and nuts and still had a beautiful curry. Delivered hot and packaged well. I highly recommend the Hungry Elephant.”

  “This place won an award for the best Indian takeaway in the UK, and if you get one, you will easily see why. The sauces are amazing, and very consistently amazing as well The meat is always nice, and taste good quality.”

  “New Fosse Wine 🍷 Society had it's last meeting if the year. 11 dined, all were extremely happy with our meals. Cooked to perfection 👌 by a very talented staff. You cannot go wrong with the no1 Takeaway Curry House. Thank you Lee and all your staff.”

  “Hungry Elephant introduced me to Indian food and I'm so glad. I've tried various vegan (I'm vegetarian) curries from here, making my way up to spicier but always reverting back to my Korma and Massala! Never get an Indian from anywhere else because I just know it won't compare. Friendly drivers, hot fresh food, fast delivery. 10/10 Would love to put a photo but it's been devoured.”

  “I usually don’t leave reviews on restaurants, but this restaurant definitely deserved it. My first time trying hungry elephant was through their website and it was delicious. I ordered chicken biryani, chicken tikka masala, garlic naan, vegetable samosas, and the plain mango drink (not the lassi). The chicken biryani was super delicious and flavorful. I most definitely loved the sprinkle of grilled onions on the biryani. Nothing bad to say about it. I will definitely go back for it! PERFECTION. (5/5) The chicken tikka masala was also good although I’ve tasted better before. Maybe because I tasted a bit more turmeric than I’d usually like in chicken tikka masalas, but that’s just my opinion. (4/5) The garlic naan was really good. Enough garlic and really soft. (5/5) The vegetable samosa was decent. Tasted really “Indian”. The only bad thing I have to say is that they didn’t give me the tamarind sauce and mint sauce, which I expected to receive alongside the samosas. It tasted like I needed the tamarind sauce in order for it to be perfection. (3/5) The mango drink was really nice. It tasted fresh and delicious. I would have loved it even more if it was colder. Colder drinks are just my preference. (5/5) This is my opinion on Hungry Elephant. I’ve had quite some Indian food experience and this has to be my favorite Indian restaurant so far. I critiqued it really hard, but I definitely would go back again because I loved the food I ordered.”

  “Unfortunately I did not have a good experience with Hungry Elephant. I had to phone to chase my meal which was an hour late, then I realised that there was an item missing, took several attempts to get through and then I found a foreign object in my meal of which I could not report as I think my number was blocked, very unhappy. I did finally get through the next evening, to be told that refund for missing item had been processed and a voucher for £10 was posted for the inconvenience but then I explained about the foreign object and have heard nothing since after texting and emailing photos as requested. I did ask for a refund but was refused, terrible service will never use again”
