Customer Review Summary
Peri peri chicken anchors the praise, described by reviewers as juicy and tender, with heat levels from lemon and herb to hot that diners found reasonable. Close behind are the King Kong platters, which one reviewer calls the best value for the chicken, two sides, salad bowl and drink. Loaded fries, wings and peri peri chips also get mentions. Several describe friendly, polite staff and a clean, relaxed room, and one notes parking can be a challenge at peak times. The complaints carry real weight, though. Reviewers describe a loaded rice box with little chicken, chips shorted on a four-meal order, a delivery order left to cancel automatically, and a Wagyu burger that arrived in a regular brioche bun instead of the advertised rainbow bagel. One reviewer reports finding a fly in loaded rice. Another reports that her husband was diagnosed with campylobacter after a takeaway small burger and that a GP letter went to Environmental Health. One spicy rice order reportedly arrived as plain rice with a few peppers and no chicken.

“It would be so nice if, when you can't fulfill a delivery order, you either don't accept it at all, or cancel it Vs making people wait almost 2 hours for it to be cancelled automatically.”

“I was extremely disappointed with my order today. After taking a couple of bites of the loaded rice, I discovered a fly in the food, which was completely unacceptable and very unhygienic. I also ordered the Wagyu burger, which cost £20 on its own and was advertised as being served in a rainbow bagel. What I received was a standard beef burger in a regular brioche bun. It did not resemble the product that was advertised and certainly did not feel worth the price paid. Overall, this was a very poor experience. Finding an insect in my food and receiving an item that was completely different from what was described is unacceptable. I expected much better quality and accuracy for the amount I spent.”

“Go to pepes instead… 3 portions of chips given when paid for 4 meals? Have a look at their chicken “loaded” rice box. Is that all the chicken you get? Seriously. Cost me £70.00 which was absolutely not worth it. Nice shop, owners are lovely but the quality and portion size is not worth it.”
