Customer Review Summary

Reviewers most often praise generous chicken, especially a tikka masala with big chunks, alongside spiced bhaji, garlic rice, biryani and special naan. The main complaint is delivery: two describe very long waits, and one rang four times and was repeatedly told drivers were all out. Another found the chicken dry and the chips seemingly from the night before.

“First time ordering from Rao Balti House and certainly won't be the last. Absolutely beautiful meal and huge portions. I highly recommend this takeaway 👌”

“Waited 2 hours for food called 4 times over 45 minutes to be told 5-10 minutes all drivers are out. Advised we’ve been told the same thing for 45 minutes? Absolutely starving and £40 down, can’t comment on the food as still waiting.”

“Waited 2 hours for delivery. Rang 3 times and was told 5 mins away. The second time was told short staffed and very busy. At one point they stopped andwering the phone. So frustrating as kids were hungry. The food was nice and the chicken plentiful. Onion bhaji not the best and I am unsure if they popped to chippy for the chips, as in chippy carton. The curries, salad and tikka rice were very nice. Would only order again if I was collecting.”

“Lately takeaways have been Blah! It’s like most places are scared of using spices and so go for middle of the road mediocrity. Tried this place last night OUTSTANDING food. The best takeaway I have had in months. The Tikka masala had big chunks of chicken, thr bahji was spiced to perfection. The garlic rice was garlicky and lovely. Please do not change your chefs. 100% recommended”
