Customer Review Summary
Diners most often praise the authentic Italian cooking at this family-run restaurant, with the garlic prawns, seabass and fritto misto named among the dishes enjoyed. Close behind are the Italian specialities one reviewer found unusual, the crespelle and zeppole, along with the faggotini, which another singles out for vegetarians. The orange cake and pistachio ice cream also get a mention. Reviewers describe the family team as friendly and welcoming, and a relaxed atmosphere comes up alongside reasonable prices. One diner had a dish made garlic free without hesitation, and another rebooked for a birthday after finding the place by accident on holiday. The main complaint comes from one table of six where only two enjoyed their meals, with bland garlic bread and dry chicken and monkfish served in little bits. One reviewer also notes parking can be a problem, though patrons will help if needed.

“Tried this restaurant for the first time on recommendations from friends, so disappointed. Six people and only two enjoyed their meals. Garlic bread had no taste, very bland. Chicken dry, monkfish dry and served in little bits.Really don't know if it was a different chef on but won't be back.”

“Fabulous welcome, amazing choice and really excellent food. Found by accident whilst on holiday in the area and rebooked immediately for a birthday celebration two days later. Probably one of the best Italian meals we have very had.”

“Made a last minute call for dinner and Mike was fantastic at sorting us a table. You definitely need to go with an appetite as the menu is superb and you'll want at least 2 courses! We had fritto misto, breads and olives, house red, garlic prawns, seabass, steak and pistachio ice cream - all delicious. Staff are really friendly, service was excellent. We've been as a couple and in a large group. Really great atmosphere. Highly recommend 👌”

“My partner and I had lunch at this Restaurant yesterday. The owner took a lot of trouble to explain the menu and the food was absolutely delicious. I am not fond of garlic and I asked if my dish could be garlic free. This was done, without hesitation, and I always think is a sign of freshly prepared ingredients. The bill was very reasonable and we will undoubtedly return again soon. A family business. Highly recommended”
