Customer Review Summary

Reviewers return most for the fried chicken, praised as crispy, tender and juicy, whether as the signature box, the whole chicken half plain and half glazed, or boneless strips in spicy sweet sauce. One visitor says it beats the chicken they had in Korea. Close behind are the spam fries and Cajun fries, with the homemade slaw, wings in Korean buffalo glaze, and cold beers also getting mentions. Staff are described as friendly and helpful, including kindness toward a toddler with dietary needs and a dog. Several call prices fair for the portions. The main caveat is capacity and pace: a few tables, a place almost fully booked on a Friday, a wait to be seated with one server, and food that takes a while, which one reviewer says staff warned about. One suggests booking ahead for weekends and peak hours. Another wanted savoury flavours beyond the two sweeter glazes, and one box had a couple of pieces with little meat. A reviewer ends with spam fries and a cold beer alongside the chicken.

“One of the best place for chicken fries lovers. Quick service helpful staff with taste food. Tried there signature & honey soy glazed fried wings & mozzarella sticks. Mozzarella sticks were as expected nothing extra ordinary but must try the wings good portion crispy really very satisfied. They have outdoor seating also. Do recommend this place and book the table before if you are planning to visit on weekends or peak hours.”

“Went here for a late lunch and had the Signature Fried Box with Sweet Chilli sauce/glaze. Chicken meat was very tender and the coating was so crispy - truly divine if you like fried chicken! One or two of the pieces didn’t really have much meat on, but this wasn’t a big deal as there were so many pieces of meat in the box. Enjoyed it with some Spam Fries and a nice cold beer too 😎”

“Very friendly and attentive staff. The cajun fries are very tasty and worth a try. We had a mix of no glaze/glaze off the bone chicken. The medium spicy glaze was just the right level of spicy and sweet. The staff were very kind towards our 1 year old daughter and was able to accommodate her dietary requirements which was much appreciated. We will definitely be back!”

“The name of this restaurant tells you everything you need to know. We arrived early on a Friday to discover it was almost fully booked, they had a few tables outside which turned out to be perfect. The Czech beer served in chilled glasses was perfect for a hot summers evening. The food takes a bit of time to arrive, which they warn you about. But it is so worth the wait. The fried chicken is so delicate and light. The batter was light and crisp with a perfect balance of seasoning, just delicious. The wings came in a Korean Buffalo glaze. Also delicious, a hint of spice and just wonderful. The pickled radishes and coleslaw were the perfect compliment. Everything about this restaurant is excellent and is highly recommended, get yourself some chicken and beers.”
