About Polski Kebab
Polski Kebab is a kebab shop at 5 Rose St in Motherwell, serving Polish-style kebabs and home of the XXXL kebab. The kebab comes in a crisp or waffle-style bun with a choice of chicken or lamb, and the chicken is offered in several varieties. Chips come alongside, and garlic sauce is one of several sauces to choose from. The shop was voted Best Kebab in Scotland in 2023, 2024 and 2025. Polish honey and a homemade dessert are sold on site for anyone who wants something to take away after the meal. It opens Wednesday to Sunday and closes on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers return to Polski Kebab for the oversized portions of meat in a crisp bun or waffle bread, with several saying they could not finish theirs. Chicken is the most named filling, and one diner describes a chicken and lamb kebab with garlic sauce. Others point to the fresh vegetables, the sauces and the bread, and one notes there was no grease pooled at the bottom, unlike other kebab shops. Several say the staff were friendly and the service fast, and a few mention travelling a long way for it, including one from Bathgate and others who drove hours. Some add that homemade dessert and Polish honey are sold to take home. The dissenting voice is a single reviewer who calls the owner rude, found the food nothing special and overpriced, and says it is nothing like the Polish kebab they knew from living in Poland, preferring a German doner elsewhere. A regular who now orders weekly from Glasgow closes the praise.

“Owner is very rude, should practice being polite and have manners. food was nothing special. Would never go back. I lived in Poland for 5 years and this is nothing like a Polish Kebab. Yayas German donner is much better and way more value for money. Shows how all these good reviewers get paid to say good things as this is really not worth it. Over priced, rude owner. Avoid”

“A kebab not to be put in the same bracket as that factory made shit they serve at your normal kebab shop, This is on another level, not just the flavour and quality of the meat, the fluffiness and crunch of the waffle bread, but when your finished, your mouth doesn't feel like it's had 2 coats of old lard. Serious portions of everything, every time we're there we get talking to other people who have driven 3 hrs up to go to it, I got one type of Kebab and the Mrs got another, that's my arm beside her kebab, lol”
