Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often return to the fully halal menu and its generous portions, with the won ton soup, the Chicken Singapore Style Fried Rice and the Japanese udon noodles named as favourites. Others mention salt and pepper chicken with chips, chicken curry and egg fried rice as regular takeaway orders, and one says dining in brings out more wok hei than delivery. Counter staff and the owner get praise for friendly service, including a polite response to a blind customer and his guide dog. Complaints are sharper and specific. One reviewer found the egg fried rice hard and crunchy and the chicken dish bland, and says management offered no apology or refund when they called. Another describes rock hard salt and chilli squid and beef, and a third reports soggy chips and chicken balls burnt outside and raw inside after a long delivery wait. One happy customer still wanted more spice and noted a delivery about 15 minutes late, but the food arrived hot.

“Horrible experience, waiting over 40 minutes for delivery and then call to ask how long they said it will be another 45 minutes. so it was incredibly late, the chips soggy, the chicken balls they were burnt on the outside but raw inside, no flavour to anythingels. This use to be my favourite but never again wasting my money on shit”

“Absolutely shocking experience. The food quality was terrible from start to finish. The egg fried rice did not look or taste like proper egg fried rice at all. The rice was hard, crunchy, and seemed old, as if it had been reheated multiple times. It was completely unacceptable and certainly not what you would expect when paying for freshly prepared food. The chicken dish was equally disappointing. It appeared to contain pineapple or some other fruit, but the biggest problem was that it had absolutely no flavour. It was bland, tasteless, and one of the worst Chinese dishes we have ever been served. What made matters even worse was the response from management. When we called to complain, there was no apology, no offer of a replacement, refund, or any attempt to put things right. Instead, we were told to bring the food back at around 11pm, which was completely unreasonable. It is shocking to charge customers for food of this quality. We felt completely let down and as though we had wasted our money. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Poor food, poor customer service, and no accountability when customers raise genuine concerns.”

“I ordered the salt and chilli combo, and I must admit, this has to be the worse take away I have ever had. The squid and beef were rock hard with no flavour. Im not sure what the rest of the menu is like but I’m happy never to try anything from that place. When they said it will take only 7 minutes to make the food, I should have walked away. I feel robbed, I should have known when I realised the location. No good food ever comes out of Netherfield in Milton Keynes”

“Normally i order them at deliveroo.. Today i went to there try dine in the restaurant. Its so completely more wok hei than takeaway!its damn delicious 😋😋 Also the service was nice n friendly,of course dine in is cheaper than order from deliveroo. High recommended 💯💯💯💯 P.s While I was eating, a blind man and his guide dog came in. The owner of the takeaway shop was very polite to the customer and expressed his comfort and understanding to us. This kind of business attitude is very difficult to find. 2026 January update Take away also fucking dope 🔥🔥💯💯🤤🤤🤤”
