The menu runs to 75 items, with Toast and toasted tea cake on the food side and a flat white on the coffee list. Orders are placed by queuing at the counter. Customer Review Summary
The complaints are specific. One reviewer found a breakfast bun with egg, bacon and sausage all at the same microwaved temperature, with dried bacon, grease and a bun that fell apart. Another found a toasted tea cake only warmed, and sausage and beans that were plain. One calls the flat white bland, and one describes a long queue for coffee on a parkrun morning, with partners waiting outside with dogs. Dogs are not permitted inside, and one reviewer says a woman was made to leave mid-soup during a downpour. One reviewer also reports a partner's card was cloned after using it there.

“When we brought our granddaughter to the park we went into the cafe. It was very loud, food was poor only thing that was nice what's the top of ice cream from the fridge? I myself had a toasted tea cake and it wasn't even toasted. Just warmed up. That's not good for business. My parent I had sausage, beans and chips. There was only the chips that were nice plain sausage and beans, warming things up in the microwave doesn't help. It can be bad for people to warm food up all the time, Plus we won't be eating here anymore after my partner's card was cloned after using it in the cafe and money disappearing out of his bank account,”

“The food was reasonably priced and of decent quality. The queue was small and the food arrived quickly. There was many choices. Dogs are not permitted to enter. Unfriendly employees.”

“No thrills good food, great prices, it's lovely in the garden too.”
- Paul Stephenson
“Horrendous 20 minute wait in the queue for a coffee today after our group dog walk, unacceptable when our other halves had to wait outside on a chilly February day with said dogs as they are not permitted to enter. Not sure why it would take that long for basic drinks?”
