Customer Review Summary

Most reviewers come for the full English breakfast, praising big, well-cooked portions at a price they call great value. One describes a packed plate from the medium option, and another a breakfast bap. Close behind are the staff, described as lovely, friendly and welcoming, including one group who arrived shortly before closing and were still cooked a full breakfast. Reviewers also mention a good choice of lunch, takeaway, filter coffee, and a beef stew and mash called rustic home cooking. The caveats come mostly from the lower reviews. One reviewer found the sausages hard and overcooked, the fried bread cooked on one side, and the bread thin, and noted bacon left exposed in a tub beside the hotplate between customers. Another found the breakfast smaller than one down the road, with chopped sausages, no serviettes and a cold building. Several others call the space very big with plenty of room, and one returning customer found the fast service and tasty food unchanged.

“One star for pleasent staff, went here for a breaky whilst car being repaired, they said it was ok but not from the area, knew how to cook but goodness me the quality of thenproduce being used, that really cheap thin lidl bread for 55p, fried bread only fried one side as it went straight through, sausages very hard sadly overcooked as clearly been pre-cooked. Noticed bacon being left in a margerine tub exposed and not chilled between customers on the side next to the hotplate. Good that mushrooms were fresh, the hash brown not so good beans were cheapy ones and toms wells toms are toms but were chopped not plum. It was a large breakfast on the menu but i have had larger “small” breakys. If upped the quality of ingrediants and gave proper ketchup in bottles at table for custoemr seevice it would be lovely!”
