  “First time in Melton Mowbray, so not sure were to eat. My Wife is celiac, so need gluten free option. Tried acouple of plaves, but the options were dire. Found the Montero Lounge and really hit the jackpot. Great chilled atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff and great choices on the menu. We both had a lovely meal and reaxing time. Thank you.”

  “What a loverly place to stop and have some loverly food and a coffee. The staff are very friendly, the place has a great atmosphere. Didn't wait long for my order. Would recommend to all to pop in and try for yourself .”

  “hi! had never been here before tonight. i had an amazing time. we sat upstairs on the terrace and were glad we could get food ordered up there. it was delicious and the staff were all so friendly! we’ll be back!”

  “Visited here on a Saturday lunchtime. Fairly busy restaurant, but a few tables available upstairs. Order on app makes it easy with a great brunch menu. Service was really good and there big lounge breakfast was awesome, nearly beat me! Very nice place to visit if in town and want a relaxed vibe with good food.”

  “Just had a fantastic impromptu Sunday evening supper at Montero Lounge. Had allday veggie breakfast it was absolutely phenomenal. I liked the twist chef laid on my plate, adding sautéed peppers and spinach, & sweetcorn & cheese fritters. Absolutely delicious. My wife had tapas chicken wings, patatas bravas and goats cheese with flat bread and butter chicken. The pink raspberry soda's rocked. Our friends from way out of town came to visit and enjoyed the different burgers and fries (one of our friends is actually a chef that cooks meals for top world famous movie actors and musicians and she also commented on how excellent the meals we ate were while she sampled bits from all the dishes also giving her seal of approval). Excellent value for money portions, warm friendly welcoming staff and spacious relaxed atmosphere. Excellent range of meals, sweets, beverages, wines, spirits & beers. Vegans and veggies catered for. We'll definitely be back soon. It has to be an impressive 1000/1000 from all of us and what an amazing end to the weekend despite the stormy weather the whole team at Montero Lounge still turned up to make our evening special. I mean, that's dedication to your patrons right there. It's just awesome it really was, so if you're in Melton Mowbray and looking for an awesome dining experience any day or night of the week, Montero Lounge is definitely the place to be.”

  “The lounge has a very positive vibe and atmosphere. It's children and family-friendly. Myself and my family sat on the terrace yesterday, as the weather was amazing. The food was good. However, the lounge burger I had was a little bit too dry. The rest of the food we ordered was very tasty. They also serve one of my favourite Spanish beers - Cruzcampo! Highly recommended place to eat, drink, and relax!”

  “I ordered the standard lounge breakfast with extra streaky bacon and it was lush. Just the right amount. Wasn’t a fan of the strawberry milkshake but for £15 total it was a good price for a tasty filling meal. My bf had the Smokey joe burger which was good but fries came a bit cold and he said wasn’t worth it for the price. Overall would come again for lunch or evening drinks.”

  “Fantastic experience, the restaurant has two floors with an outside balcony on the first floor. The atmosphere is really homely, somewhat like the Cosy Club and the staff are friendly and inviting. The menu has a good selection, with everything really well cooked and there is also a small but delicious selection of beers and cocktails. Will definitely go here again :)”
