  “Had dinner here yesterday after a long wait, and can say it was definitely worth it. The staff were friendly and attentive. The food... Well, out of this world, easily one of the nicest places I've eaten at. The arancini was fantastic, so was the bruschetta. Although the plates are small, the portions are not, so you may need dessert to go.”

  “I'll admit, I'm grateful to go to a lot of restaurants to eat; mostly with the hope I can enjoy something lovely on the menu. There are a lot of places to choose from in the greater Manchester area. I realised I'd not shared a review in quite a while; purely because the places I've eaten at have, well, not been something to write home about. But, along comes a long awaited visit to Ornella's, which my wife was keen to take me to, after she managed to get some dessert from there by chance. Short story long... Delicious. 😂👌 We kicked off with two small plates of nduja arancini and the Bruschetta (with lemon ricotta), which turned out to be big portions, which I was grateful for. The wife loved the arancini and I fell for those sweet tomatoes on the Bruschetta. A lovely starter to share! 🙂 As we enjoyed our starters, I was curious what other diners were eating and the main pasta dishes looked lovely. (One dinner opposite accidentally flicked some crab claw at me while cracking his dinner, which made me laugh!) We opted to try three small pasta bowls, with the Bucabtini Carbonara, Bucatini Al Pomodoro w/ Slow-Cooked Beef Meatballs and the Lobster Ravioli. Again, everything was delicious and I was glad we had a bit of each to try. To finish, we took a slice of the Nutella cheesecake, with topped off a lovely menu. Oh, and the Espresso martini was excellent too! 🙂👍 So, my hat off to the the kitchen crew at Onella's for delicious food and also the friendly, but not overbearing FOH staff. It's a small, cosy venue with just a few tables...which reminded me of spending time with my Italian friends at their favourite eateries. Intimate, but warm and friendly. Brava. Semplicemente incantevole. I look forward to taking some friends there in the future. Happily offered a 15% tip to the team for a lovely evening. Five thumbs up. 👍👍👍👍👍”

  “Customer service was great very welcoming and friendly, crazy how busy they get went at 12pm and When we had got our drinks it was packed (there always fully booked up ) not surprised why the food was so fresh and good quality ingredients definitely worth a visit”

  “Mama mia, it was well worth the wait of 6 months to get a table at Ornella's 😃 It's hard to find enough superlatives to describe our dinner bonanza! The creativity, innovation and style of the dishes was absolutely stunning. From the fried ravioli and crisp fresh pesto to the sensational juicy plump prawns and the melty short rib on gnocchi was breathtakingly good. I haven't had such an exciting culinary experience for over 6 years when I was last travelling abroad!! I highly recommend finding a free date in their diary (good luck) and making a feast of it when you go. Do note that the small plates are perfect for sharing in Italian style. Each plate will share for 2-3 people as part of a sharing mezze. The young ladies serving were delightful so thanks to them for everything they did to make a great atmosphere and lovely evening. Three is a car park a couple of streets up behind the post office which has 3 hours free parking.”

  “It's a really small restaurant but super cute and nice atmosphere, we've been wanting to go here for ages and it was worth the wait. The food was absolutely unreal, the service was great and it was a really friendly atmosphere. Portions are also so big! We definitely over ordered! Star of the show was the Slow-Cooked Minty Lamb Ragù Pappardelle it was absolutely delicious. Also the sticky toffee tirimisu pudding was banging.”

  “Update: bagged a last minute cancellation for an Eid post run brunch and yet again, consistently amazing offerings were present. Had the very cheesy toast and we all shared the fries. Took a mate who was very impressed with his eggs with cavolo nero ( so creamy is what he said!) We also shared a brioche bun with pistachio ice cream and the richest warm choc sauce. Only thing I would say was the bun was drier than expected. Service top notch again. I've been waiting for a table here to open up. Grabbed a cancellation and was not disappointed. The food is top notch, the menu offers enough for all tastes. We were both veggies/pescatarians. Stand out dishes were the arancini, pasta with anchovies, bruschetta with the yummiest lemon ricotta and the scrumptious chips with parmesan. The pistachio profiteroles were perfect to share as an end. Oh, the coffee is banging as well! You will leave sated and full of a slice of Sicily.”

  “We have waited quite a long time to get a table at ornellas and it was definitely worth the wait. Food was unbelievable specially the slow cooked beef short rib with gnocchi. Staff were lovely and very attentive. Can’t wait to go back.”
