Customer Review Summary
Reviewers split on the mixed kebab starter and curries, with some calling the food delicious and tasty, and others finding it oily and flavourless. One describes a chicken tikka with few pieces of chicken, and a jalfrezi as tasteless. Waits of an hour or more come up, as does staff who seemed disengaged. One notes no vegan options.

“I was so disappointed that they offer NO vegan options, not even one. Can't comment on the food/service as had to eat elsewhere!”

“We purchased a voucher on Groupon. So, as per the terms and conditions, we had a pre-booked reservation (party of 3). The voucher covered 2 diners, including a starter and a main dish, with the choice of a plain naan or plain pilau rice. Promptly seated on arrival (early evening on a Saturday). When we arrived, there were a few other diners; the atmosphere was quiet, but nice as it enabled us to catch up with a friend. For starters, we ordered a poppadum, mixed kebab and onion bhaji, which all went down well. For mains, we had 2 biriyanis; both came with a rice dish. Also ordered a Chicken Korai. Due to one of our party having allergies to both wheat and rice, we asked if the rice could be swapped for chips instead. They were happy to accommodate this, but made it clear that there would be an additional charge for the chips (which we were happy to pay). The food was absolutely delicious; we couldn't fault it. The speed of service was absolutely perfect. The one thing that let the restaurant down was the customer service in terms of staff engagement. We were all really complimentary about the food, but the staff were really disengaged and not really interested in what we had to say. Having had a read of other comments on Trip Advisor, it seems that this is a common reception and they look to be more forthcoming with their regular customers. Would certainly return for the food with the Groupon voucher, but purely because of the lack of customer service skills, I wouldn't really be prepared to pay what would have been full price for the service we received.”

“This is the worst Indian food I have ever had. Spent over 40£ for absolute rubbish. Mix grill starter for 2 was mostly onion rings. And thrown in a bag and greasy as hell. Chicken jalfrazy was tasteless and the lamb bunna was like a soup. What a waste of money. I would recommend that everyone stays away from this place. You will get better from Iceland frozen Indian curry’s.”

“It was ok. The service was passable with 30mins additional waiting time because it was “busy” But it was almost empty so that felt wrong. The food itself was ok, just ok. Very oily and not all that crispy considering we got it fresh out of the kitchen. I wouldn’t go again if I had another option.”
