  “Had a spectacular roast at The Belle View, perfect medium rare beef, crispy potatoes, well cooked parsnips and carrots, delicious greens, huge Yorkshire's and lots of extra gravy. The best roast I’ve had in Norwich, this place should be packed out. I’ve also had dinner here before and it is always exceptional. Friendly attentive service, nothing negative to say at all.”

  “Last few times ive been here the food has been awful. My most recent visit, I ordered jacket potato with cheese and beans. It appeared to be one spoonful of beans and one cheese. Very disappointing. Will remember not to return should I ever decide to go into Lowestoft town again.”

  “Very tired decor. Needs a refresh. Dated interior. Toilets are very tired. Taps, tired. Lighting pretty awful. The mediterranean veggies were absolutely dreadful as they've changed provider apparently. Jacket spud was very, very dry. Had to request a refund on the food which they did actually do. The extra star is for the staff who have always been friendly to us and acknowledged our food complaint on the day in question. Oh one last thing is the coffee machines (while cheap) give a lukewarm latte. Almost cold. Both upstairs and downstairs machines the same. And downstairs left coffee machine is always breaking. The entire place could really use a refurb tbh.”

  “A bustling venue, with two floors, so plenty of seating. Food is incredibly well priced. Hot ducks are self service, which did feel a little odd, however, the unlimited refills for coffee and tea smoothes that over. Food was hot and good quality - empty plates all round. Clean facilities. Well lit compared to some Wetherspoons, too. Would return when in Lowestoft.”

  “Had a good time with friends here. The place was quite busy so it was a bit noisy, but that’s expected. Most of the food was good, but the Indian dish I tried wasn’t great. You can tell right away it wasn’t freshly made, probably frozen, which takes away from the flavour. Apart from that, everything else was spot on and we enjoyed ourselves.”

  “We usually go there every other weekend to have a good time, enjoy nice budget friendly drinks,snacks and sometimes main meal. They have a lot of seating area and good selection of drinks. It’s a good budget friendly place to go hang out with your friends or family”
