Customer Review Summary
The sharing platter and cheese board draw the most praise, from the ham and cheese platter described as generous and diverse to a cheese board that comes with delicious warm bread. Arancini and bruschetta get mentions too, alongside an extensive wine list, and one reviewer was recommended a French wine and given a small discount. Reviewers repeatedly describe friendly, lovely staff and a relaxed, peaceful, rustic atmosphere, with no pressure to leave. Pricing is the recurring complaint. A few reviewers object to the bill, one citing expensive drinks, a service charge and fries described as air fried from frozen, another a Beaujolais sold for far more than its supermarket price. That same reviewer found the bar empty on a Saturday night, the menu different from the one online, the Fleurie out of stock, and a server who never checked back. Even so, one diner notes the parmesan and truffle fries come with loads of Parmesan.

“I’ve been to many bars and restaurants in London and elsewhere, but I’ve never seen a bill quite like this 😱. The venue itself is good, and the outdoor seating area is pleasant and enjoyable. However, it’s just not my kind of place, so unfortunately I won’t be returning.”

“Came in on a whim as it was raining and was delighted by every aspect! The service was lovely and friendly, the food was gorgeous (especially the bruschetta!) and the atmosphere was equally as nice. Such a relaxed vibe will definitely be returning!”

“Extremely average & extremely overpriced. £15 per drink (wine/spritz) which is absolutely outrageous considering how painfully average the whole experience was - ok service, ok plastic flowers, ok £7 air fried from frozen fries. And was topped off by a very self indulgent 12.5% service charge. Would not go back here.”

“We were greeted by a lovely staff member who showed us to our table and gave us menus for food and drink. He was polite, professional, courteous and friendly. We chose our food and drink which was delivered to us quickly. The arancini was hot and delicious and the sharing platter was generous and diverse and decent quality. The wine was sublime. We were left to chat and not pressured to leave or order anything- a delightful way to enjoy some food and drink with friends.”

“Such a fab place for an afternoon drink and chat on the pavement! And the loveliest owner who really cares about each customer. Parmesan and truffle fries come with loads of Parmesan too :)”
