  “Very disappointing. I paid £10.95 for a chicken shawarma that was served cold and very poor quality. No chips, no drink, and definitely not worth the price. I took photos of the food as proof. Sadly, I wouldn’t recommend this place.”

  “Walking by and stumbled across this gem. Ambiance was welcoming, food was delicious and fresh. I got the mixed lamb and chicken skewer plate it’s a great portion size. Everything was wonderful overall 🙂”

  “This place is horrible. I am visiting from USA. I went to pay and they rejected 2 credit cards and 1 from my mother, I tried my ATM card and rejected also. I offered to pay with US dollars and euros and they refused. Told me to go to an ATM and get pounds. Got hit with a $30 fee from my bank. Went home abd checked .y account and they charged me atleast 5 times for the dinner. Spent the night sorting out all the erroneous charges. Which totaled hundreds of dollars. This place is unethical and should be held criminally negligent. RIDICULOUS and the food was also horrible”

  “I have ordered Fish and Chips to take away and when I had my first bite I’ve noticed that the fish was odd and mushy. It’s definitely old and not safe to eat. This could send someone to the hospital. I’m calling the council to do a formal complaint.”

  “We visited this restaurant for dinner with our family. While the food itself was decent, the service was absolutely pathetic and unacceptable. The person who took our order wrote it down, yet still served the wrong items. Although he replaced it after we raised the issue, it already showed a lack of attention and professionalism. Things got much worse at the end. Our kids had fallen asleep, so we politely asked if we could wait inside the restaurant for another 10 minutes. He initially refused and only agreed after repeated requests despite the restaurant being completely empty at that time. We specifically asked for my son’s burger to be packed as takeaway since he was asleep. The staff member prepared it and kept it in front of him, fully aware that we were the only customers in the restaurant. Shockingly, while we were waiting inside, he threw the packed burger into the waste bin without asking us a single word. When we started looking for it, he casually said he thought it was leftover food. We were then forced to retrieve our food from the bin. This is beyond poor service it is disrespectful, unhygienic, and unacceptable. No customer should ever be treated this way, especially a family with sleeping children. I would strongly not recommend this place, purely due to the terrible service and complete lack of basic common sense and courtesy.”

  “Melissa’s Kitchen is a solid find. I had the lamb shish and it really delivered: properly grilled, juicy, well-seasoned, and cooked with care rather than rushed. The portion was generous, the chips crisp, and the fresh salad and warm bread with dips rounded it out nicely. Service was friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere is relaxed without feeling generic. It’s straightforward Turkish food done right—no gimmicks, just quality ingredients and consistent execution. Very good value for the location. I’d happily come back, especially if I’m nearby and want something reliable and satisfying. Recommended.”

  “Didn't eat in but the interior of this restaurant looks nice. Ordered a mixed donor which came within 5 minutes. Portion size was just about right not a huge portion but not small either. Both the chicken and lamb donor meats were cooked well, not overly oily. Could have done with a bit more salad and the bread was a bit overdone. Service was OK, guy serving was polite but not overly friendly. Would go back if in the area.”

  “This is a good kebab place and the food tastes nice, but I have had better kebabs elsewhere for a cheaper price. The portion was decent and the flavors were fine, but the pricing felt a bit on the higher side. I think the cost is mainly because it’s in London, where prices are generally higher. It’s still a decent option if you’re nearby and craving kebab, but not the best value for money compared to other places I’ve tried.”
