About La Famiglia
La Famiglia is a Tuscan restaurant at 7 Langton St in London, with pictures hung on white-tiled walls. The pasta is freshly made, and the menu includes a wild boar pasta alongside osso bucco with saffron risotto. Deep fried artichokes and baccalà sit among the traditional dishes. A covered garden has a roof that opens in warm months, which lets the dining space follow the season. Dogs are welcome. Reservations are required. The restaurant works with a long-standing, large team of staff.

Customer Review Summary
Service draws the most praise at La Famiglia, described by regulars as friendly, unpretentious and impeccable, with several returning for decades. Reviewers name the rabbit, deep fried artichokes, baccalà, fine fried calamari and osso bucco with saffron risotto. They also mention freshly made pasta such as the wild boar pasta and cappelletti cacio e pepe, and an affogato taken on the terrace. Close behind is the covered garden, which several single out. The caveats are specific. One group seated at the front found the noise incredibly loud, and the same diners found one dish a tad too salted and another slightly sour. A longtime family regular feels the food was once real authentic Italian and now remains passable, and another reviewer calls prices above average. One diner objected to being charged for the water, bread and olives placed on the table. Reviewers still return to the garden on warm evenings, with its roof open to the stars.

“Excellent service at this authentic Italian restaurant with traditional dishes like deep fried artichokes and baccalà. Online menu is slightly outdated (no rabbit). Portions of pasta are reasonably sized to let you order a meat or fish dish afterwards, or a dessert. Cappelletti cacio e pepe were undeniably tasty but it feels like a waste to combine filled pasta with this rich sauce. Prices above average, 2-course for 50 quid plus wine pp, justified by great cuisine and a covered garden in warm months.”

“From the moment we walked in, La Familigia delivered an exceptional dining experience. The atmosphere was warm, inviting, and authentically Italian, making it the perfect setting for a memorable meal. The rabbit was absolutely outstanding—perfectly prepared, incredibly tender, and seasoned with remarkable flavor. It’s not a dish you find everywhere, and this restaurant executed it flawlessly. Every bite reflected the care and skill of an outstanding kitchen. What truly elevated the evening was our server, Nickolea. Nickolea was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about the menu. Every recommendation was excellent, service was impeccable without ever feeling rushed, and we felt welcomed from beginning to end. Nickolea’s professionalism, friendly personality, and attention to detail made an already wonderful meal unforgettable. If you’re looking for authentic Italian cuisine, exceptional service, and a dining experience you’ll be talking about long after you leave, La Familigia is a must-visit. Five stars all the way!”

“Popped in for a long luncheon impromptu on a sunny Monday. Front of the resto is simple but stylish in that magical Italian way, all in white and blue tiles. We had white baits and polpo salad to start and shared piccata da vitello al limone. Fresh produces and lovingly prepared. Old school Italian. Affogato was taken on the charming terrace. Fabio is very friendly and personable. Will for sure return for many more. Veramente La Famiglia 😎🙏🏼”

“Such a classic! Been coming here for almost 30 years, what consistency. Wonderful sitting in the covered garden. The service is impeccable, and you want to order from the entire menu, such Italian classics. Highly recommend the fine fried calamari as well as the osso bucco with saffron risotto.”

“Everything about this place was simply superb! An authentic Italian experience in London! Everything we had was delicious and transported me back to Italy. I was quite full with the dishes we had so I’ll be back to try some of their other vegetarian dishes and desserts. Take a look at the name of the dishes to see what we had. I’ll upload more once I revisit them.”
