Customer Review Summary
Korean fried chicken is the draw reviewers raise most, from the sweet and spicy crunchy chicken a family all ordered in different varieties to Korean chicken wings in sauce that one repeat visitor calls fantastic. Close behind are the chicken bibimbap bowl with a fried egg, vegetables and pickles, and the pulled pork with noodles and pickles. The pork belly and squid also earn praise. Portions are described as generous, and the room as quiet and spacious, though another reviewer calls it always busy. Complaints cluster around noodles. One reviewer found the spicy noodles overcooked, broken and far too salty, another had a big clump of undercooked, stuck together noodles, and the pulled pork was called a little lump of meat. One diner says the chicken teriyaki was undercooked, and a strict vegetarian reports finding chicken in the fried tofu and raises food hygiene concerns. Several describe ordering at the table and food arriving very quickly, even when the place was full.

“I came with my family. We all loved it. The sweet and spicy crunchy chicken was very good. Most of us chose this dish, in different varieties, and we all loved it. Very easy to order in the serf service stations. With nice and large pictures that helped a lot. Very friendly and quick service. The brought us all free water and glasses without need to ask. The food was very quick to come too. Quiet, luminous and spacious place. Very pleasant for a quick bite. Happy we chose this place.”

“Seems to be a decent replacement for the Japanese Canteen that used to be here (run by the same people). Has a more Korean slant on the menu. Food was slightly more spicy than expected (but very good)”

“Thoroughly enjoyed popping by for a bite to eat - as recommended by a friend's partner. The pork belly was great, as was the squid - yummy 😋”

“Was okay but will never go again. The board spicy noodle was extremely overcooked and broken and some pieces sticking together at same time. Way too salty. Way too spicy. Note it’s a Chinese saying it’s way too spicy and salty. Just terrible. I can’t find anything good about the food. Will give 0 star if I can.”

“A good lunch spot if you enjoy Chinese, Japanese or Korean cuisine. The place specialises in Ramen or Bibimbap bowls, Katsu curry, Korean Fried Chicken and Dan Dan noodles (spicy wide noodles) I had the Bibimbap bowl with chicken and it was full of flavour, wide range of vegetables and pickles and a fried egg. Good value at just over £10. You can also order directly from a table or from the screens at the front of the restaurant. The delivery is pretty swift.”
