Customer Review Summary

Burgers draw the most praise, with one reviewer calling the double stack the best burger they have had and a group of diners all ordering the BBQ chicken burger. Ribs come close behind, from a rack shared with calamari, fried cauliflower and mac and cheese to a sharing platter of chicken stack with half a rack of ribs. Milkshakes, cocktails, very crunchy hot chips, pizza and vegan options also get mentions. Servers are the most repeated positive, described as friendly, funny, quick and welcoming, and reviewers like the atmosphere and the booths. Criticism is more varied. One reviewer found the meatballs too soft and short on flavour for a New York style Italian menu. Another called the food ok but lacking strong flavours, with a tourist feel and American diner vibes. A third found it expensive, with a watered down Coke Zero. One diner reports an undercooked apple pie. Two reviewers used Groupon vouchers. One enjoyed the full meal, while the other was seated after asking staff to check the voucher, then had it refused at the bill and paid full price.

“I'd say it's more like a tourist location than anything else; it gives American dinner vibes, which I don't mind but doesn't feel authentic. Food was ok, nothing special to write home about but not bad at all. It lacks distinct and strong flavours, chips were god though, very crunchy and hot. Decent portion too. My host, Lina or Lila, I have terrible memory with names was more than welcoming, service was quick and I'd say she is a great asset to the team. Edit: Visited again, this time for pizza, and it was decent, good food, and I was very hungry. This time my server's name was Maria, I liked old school approach, I can tell she's seen everything what person working in hospitality can see. There are tables outside too but with such a busy street I wouldn't recommend sitting there, even it is tempting. Might try next time.”

“Food was nice but quite expensive, the coke zero tasted watered down which was disappointing. Service was direct, but quick. Overall I feel there are better options for the same or lower prices in the area.”

“We had a wonderful dining experience here! From the moment we arrived, everything was excellent. A special thanks to Izabella, who took the time to clearly explain the menu and recommend some of the best dishes. Her suggestions were spot on we truly enjoyed every item we ordered. The service was outstanding, and Izabella in particular made our visit memorable with her friendliness and professionalism. It’s one of the best service experiences we’ve had. We’ll definitely be visiting again. Thank you for such a great evening!”

“I recently visited this Italian restaurant and found the experience somewhat underwhelming. While the food was certainly edible, it lacked the depth of flavor I was expecting from an Italian meal labeled ny style. In particular, the meatballs were disappointing — their texture was far too soft for my liking, which made them less enjoyable overall. The restaurant has potential, but based on this visit, the food didn’t quite live up to expectations. I would consider coming back to try a different dish because the pizza looked amazing.”
