About Third Coffee
Third Coffee is a coffee shop in London at 45 Kingston Rd, with a menu that pairs Japanese-style drinks and pastries with familiar coffees. The hojicha latte and the mochi bun carry the Japanese influence, while flat whites and lattes cover the everyday orders. Special lattes and a range of teas round out the drinks list, and the pastries are made in house. Food is served for breakfast, brunch and lunch, so the shop works for a morning stop or a midday meal. It opens daily and keeps daytime hours only.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers return to Third Coffee mainly for the coffee itself, with several calling it strong and flavourful, less milky than elsewhere, and one praising the latte art. Specific drinks named include the iced caramel latte, oat latte, flat white, mocha, Hojicha latte and peach oolong tea, and a few value the Japanese drinks and pastries. Food gets close attention too: a mochi bun that kids liked, a super soft cinnamon bun, and a brunch described as reasonably priced and fresh. Friendly staff come up repeatedly, and the atmosphere is called relaxed, lovely and unpretentious, with one reviewer enjoying the cute ceramic cups. The criticism is small. One reviewer found the staff less friendly than expected and the space could be cosier, and another hopes some tables stay laptop friendly on Friday afternoons. Several long-time regulars say they keep coming back, and one says they no longer bother with chain coffee after trying it here.

“We’ve been coming to Third Coffee for several years now and it remains one of our favourite spots in Wimbledon. The coffee is consistently top quality, easily some of the best in the area, and the food is fantastic. The portions are generous, everything is freshly prepared, and we’ve never had a disappointing meal. What really sets Third Coffee apart, though, is the team. The staff are genuinely exceptional, always welcoming, friendly and attentive. Hannah in particular leads a brilliant team that makes everyone feel at home. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance: relaxed, comfortable and unpretentious. It’s got character and warmth without trying too hard to be “London cool”, which is increasingly rare these days as cafés compete to see who can make customers feel most intimidated by a flat white. Whether you’re popping in for a coffee, breakfast, lunch or a catch-up with friends, I couldn’t recommend Third Coffee more highly.”

“I’ve been coming to Third Coffee now for over a year and in an area of South Wimbledon that is teeming with cafes this stands head and shoulders above the rest for the quality of the coffee and food they serve, all for a very respectable and competitive London price. The staff are always polite and friendly and the baristas certainly know what they are doing. The shop is nice and cosy good for both the winter and then lovely sun shining in during the summer. It’s a fantastic place for a quick coffee or a lovely breakfast and we’ll be coming back again and again! Will”
