Quick info
About Rosslyn Coffee Liverpool Street Station
Rosslyn Coffee Liverpool Street Station is a London coffee shop on Old Broad St, at Liverpool Street Station, and one of a group of Rosslyn coffee shops. Rosslyn was established in 2018 by Irish and Australian founders, who bring Australian cafe standards together with the warmth of an Irish pub. The menu lists 12 items, led by the Flat White, with black filter coffee for those who want it plain. In spring and summer, a coffee soft serve joins the drinks. Orders go through the counter, where service runs fast in an assembly-line style. There is no seating on site, so the format suits a quick stop on the way through the station. The shop also opens on Saturdays.
Good to know
“Established in 2018, Rosslyn is a coming together of hospitality styles from both Ireland and Australia, the homes of our founders James and Mat. “All the attention to detail and high standards of an Australian Cafe combined with the warmth and community of an Irish Pub brought together in a way that best serves modern day London”.”

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often single out the friendly staff, with several describing smiling baristas and a welcome that stood out in a city they call full of grumpy ones. The coffee itself comes close behind, with a black filter, a flat white, a latte and a cappuccino all praised, and one reviewer calling the filter among the best of the year. The coffee soft serve is a repeated draw too, described as strong in coffee taste and really good, and one reviewer was glad this branch opens on Saturdays when others do not. A matcha also gets a mention as delicious. One reviewer calls the speed of service an assembly line for coffee. The drawbacks are small: one latte was good but not the best they have had, a mocha was not very chocolatey, and reviewers note there is no seating and no vegan pastry options. One reviewer enjoyed the visit so much they missed their train.

“Super friendly service and dear lord if this isn’t one of the best black filter coffees I’ve had this year. Would’ve liked to see vegan pastry options and maybe a stool to sit on but 10/10 coffee!”

“First time at Rosslyn and I’m pleased I had time to stop to enjoy a delicious cappuccino! But… what made my first experience even better was the friendly welcome! Everyone smiled and that’s a big bonus these days! Special thanks for Aran (the barista from Turkey. Hope I got your name right)”

“Well impressed with this location, they work like well oiled machine, it’s almost an assembly line for coffee. Efficient and fast, which I can only imagine would take weeks of preparation to meet that huge demand for an opening event. My drinks were good, not the best latte I’ve had but meets London’s high standards. Mocha was almost on point, not super chocolatey. I shared a moment with someone who looks like a manager/owner and it made my day. He was enjoying his cuppa outside and our eyes met.”
