Customer Review Summary
Diners most often return for the thali, the Sri Lankan plate of several curries with rice, with reviewers describing versions with three or five curries, a vegetarian option, and the green bean curry singled out as a favourite. Close behind are the roti, including a fish roti of dry fish curry and a spicy chicken roti, with the roti rolls also called great. Reviewers describe the food as authentic, fresh and flavourful without being overly spicy, and the staff as friendly and welcoming. Several mention unlimited refills, and one says the owner gave extra food so no one left hungry. The vegan options and the mission-led approach also draw comment. One reviewer found a curry too hot and was brought a bowl of yogurt by the chef when they asked for milk. Others wish for more seating, and one notes the tables could be cleaner. A group celebrating a birthday and a group lunch both describe a welcoming, chill setting.

“Food is great and service super friendly. I wish it was bigger with a bit more seating but they make do, it just makes it cost. Highly recommend for Sri Lankan food, the roti rolls are amazing too. And if you wanted one more reason to try it out they're mission-led too. Good vegan options too.”

“This restaurant made us feel right at home. They served some of the best thalis we’ve had in London and it felt like the food was never ending (in the best way possible). Everyone there is so attentive and kindhearted – the owner even gave us extra food and insisted that no one leave the place hungry! Absolutely amazing!”

“I wish there were more than 5 stars I could give this restaurant. The food was outstanding and incredibly authentic, and the staff are warm, friendly, and welcoming. We felt comfortable from the moment we walked in. The dishes are flavorful without being overly spicy and have a real home cooked quality to them. The restaurant offers a thali system with unlimited refills, which makes the experience even better. This is a hidden gem in one of my favorite neighborhoods in London and an absolute must visit!”
