Quick info
About Times Square Liverpool
Times Square Liverpool is a bar and grill in Liverpool, at 8 Williamson Square. The kitchen makes its scouse and its soups in house and cooks the food fresh to order, so a short wait for a plate is possible. Breakfast is part of the menu, with the full English and pancakes among the options. Cooking to order means each plate leaves the kitchen when it is ready rather than sitting under a lamp. Drinks are poured by bartenders at the bar.

Customer Review Summary
Breakfast is the main draw, with reviewers praising the full English, eggs Benedict and pancakes for generous portions, and one calling it the best breakfast in ages. Close behind is the homemade scouse, which reviewers say is cooked fresh along with the soups. Other dishes singled out include a red hot calamari starter, mushrooms in sauce, lamb chops and an apple pie one diner calls the best they have eaten. One returning breakfast guest says the food has improved after recent changes, and another plans to come back for the Sunday roast. Staff are described as friendly, welcoming and attentive, with the bartenders called funny and the owner said to treat guests like family. The recurring caveats are small. One reviewer notes the food takes a little while because it is cooked fresh, and another found an iced caramel latte lacking, suggesting an extra shot of espresso would have helped. One couple mentions getting a booth to themselves on a Friday evening.

“Had such a nice breakfast here! Went for the full English, eggs Benedict’s and the pancakes - generous portions and delicious food I had an iced caramel latte that wasn’t the best but think an extra shot of espresso would’ve saved it”

“Food and service 10/10 starter of calamari came was so lovely and red hot which was great nothing worse than tepid food, amazing scouse but the apple pie the best i’ve ever eaten. My wife had mushrooms in sauce which she really enjoyed, lamb chops and loved them! I’ll say it again 10/10 and £50 with drinks on a Friday evening even had a booth to ourselves!”
