  “Went for the first time for a birthday & what a fantastic night we had. The food was amazing,really fresh. The service was second to none with the waiter being very attentive & couldn't do enough to make our night special. Will definitely go there again,thank you”

  “My wife and I had our wedding meal at Sorriso and the whole process was handled to perfection. Leading up to the day they made everything very simple and understood our vision perfectly. They provided outstanding service to us and our guests and we very attentive; topping up drinks and making sure we were happy with everything. They were very flexible which made us both feel very at ease and they worked to our schedule which was perfect. And top it all off the food was to die for! We have a lot of fussy eaters in our party and they were all super happy with what they received. The quality and taste of the food was next level and we will definitely be going back here to eat again and I’m sure plenty of our party will be too. 100% recommend and encourage people to go give the food a try 🌟”

  “Atmosphere was good, service was lacking and the food was edible but not enjoyable. Out of 2 starters and 2 mains we only enjoyed one of the mains and even that wasn't extraordinary. Upon mentioning that we had an issue with the starters we were told that we should have told them so that they could have swapped it for another one....we would have if we were asked how the food is (which is what usually happens). The flavour in most of the food just wasn't there, it was just bland. Not satisfied and disappointed after spending 75 quid.... We made sure we didn't stay for dessert....”

  “I refuse to give this restaurant a bad review as it’s literally my most favourite restaurant in Lichfield, however, for the first time ever we came in and ordered pizzas. Worst pizza I’ve ever had, I know times are hard but please please please fill the bread with the tomato sauce and put like quadruple cheese on it, please use mozzarella and please cook it for at least ten more minutes in your pizza oven.”

  “We popped into Ristorante Sorriso for a late lunch, looking to get a panini that was advertised on the board outside. However inside we were tempted by the Smile menu. Two courses for £16.95 with a drink. Great value! We had calamari and creamy garlic mushrooms for starters, pizza and spaghetti carbonara. All very tasty and excellent quality food. Topped off with a glass of house rose wine. The waiter was very hospitable and attentive. Will definitely revisit when in Lichfield again.”

  “A bit of a lengthy review but for places like Sorriso it's worth the time. While visiting Lichfield, we discovered this restaurant as one of the very few vegetarian-friendly options available during lunch time on a weekday. Sorriso is a delightful Italian restaurant that truly lives up to its name, putting a smile on your face from the moment you step through the door. Roberto, the co-owner, is an exceptional host who made our experience even more memorable with his warm and welcoming demeanor. We visited for lunch and were pleased to find a set menu offering good value for money with options for two or three courses including a drink (alcoholic or soft drink). The service was excellent, and the food was delicious. Special mention to Funghi Darwin and Risotto Funghi which were great vegetarian options and Calamari, Maiale Bolognese and Pollo Porcino stood out as non vegetarian options. The pizza was good as well. Panna cotta was my favourite from the 3 desserts on the menu. One of the highlights of our visit was the wonderful surprise arranged for my wife's birthday. I told Roberto about my wife's birthday and his team went above and beyond by bringing a candle-lit dessert while singing happy birthday, giving a special touch to our celebration. The attention to detail at Sorriso is impressive, even extending to the toilets. They offer a fantastic baby changing station complete with amenities like wet wipes and nappy bags, making it incredibly convenient for families with young children. We'll definitely come back next time we're in Lichfield.”

  “Very nice and romantic Italian restaurant. With a pleasant atmosphere and good Italian music. Everything was clean and tidy, and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The food was good, I ordered affogato for dessert, it was OK but I am already of the opinion that it is difficult to find a great affogato in England.”
