  “As always the Dragon King was delicious and filling. The restaurant is nice and cool so during a heatwave the perfect place to be. our server and the others are fantastic and attentive.they made our daughter feel really special ! we absolutely love it here because it's value for money and super delicious”

  “My wife and I visited after a hiatus of a few months and we were pleasantly surprised it was nice and quiet when we got there. Temperature inside was cool as it was pretty warm outside. All your usual offerings were available. I love the satay chicken! The dumplings too. Staff were friendly as always. Only take what you're going to eat! Don't waste food!”

  “Dragon King is by far my favourite all you can eat Chinese restaurant. The food is always fresh, delicious, and full of flavour, with a great variety of dishes to choose from. Everything arrives quickly, and it’s clear that quality isn’t sacrificed despite the all you can eat format. The staff are welcoming and attentive, creating a relaxed and enjoyable dining experience every time I visit. The restaurant is clean, well-organised, and offers excellent value for money. Whether you’re visiting for a family meal, a celebration, or just because you’re craving great Chinese food, Dragon King is a fantastic choice. Highly recommended!”

  “we went on the bank holiday monday, walked in and the vibe was not great, the staff didn’t explain or mention payment beforehand, just sat us down and walked away. the music was 5 second clips of a song and then skipping the the next whilst also playing the same 10 songs. the food wasn’t great, felt like it wasn’t fresh or hot and we were worried we would get sick. the plates were plastic with a pattern rubbing off and honestly felt gross using it, we had one plate each and tried a toffee banana which also wasn’t great. then they just took our plates without asking. we went to pay and they say £46 GBP!!! so the charge more for bank holidays even though it doesn’t specify that, they couldn’t understand us so we had to pay but definitely not worth it the money.”

  “My wife and I recently had the pleasure of dining at Dragon King Chinese Buffet, and I must say, it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and a genuine sense of hospitality. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always willing to help, making the entire experience even more enjoyable. The customer service was truly excellent, which is something that sets this place apart from many other buffet-style restaurants. Now, onto the food, which was simply fantastic, especially for a Chinese buffet. The seafood selection was superb, with the salt and pepper prawns being a particular highlight for me. They were cooked to perfection—tasty, juicy, and full of flavour. The meat dishes were equally impressive. The garlic and pepper chicken was unbelievably tender, practically melting in the mouth, while the beef in black bean sauce was succulent, perfectly seasoned, and cooked just right. Dessert was another unexpected delight. There was a great variety to choose from, but the toffee banana fritters were the real standout—crispy, sweet, and utterly addictive! I found myself going back for more—definitely a guilty pleasure! At just £20 per person for dinner, Dragon King offers exceptional value for money given the quality and variety of food on offer. The ambience is relaxed and chilled, making it a great place to enjoy a leisurely meal without feeling rushed. As someone of Chinese heritage, I can confidently say that this is a buffet I would highly recommend. We will certainly be returning soon!”

  “If you just want a big meal for a low price and aren’t too particular, this place works fine. From crispy duck pancakes to sweet and sour chicken, plus all the usual noodles and fried rice, it covers the buffet staples well. Great value for money, clean space, and friendly staff. Great for a laid-back neighborhood dinner of Chinese comfort food.”

Speaking of food, the menu featured some real standout dishes. The Chinese banana dessert with sesame was a delightful treat—crispy, fragrant, and perfectly sweet. The marinated chicken was clean, flavorful, and expertly prepared, showcasing a delicate balance of seasoning. While some dishes stood out more than others, the overall dining experience was fantastic. A huge thank you to the wonderful team at Dragon King (龙王) for such a lovely meal.
