Customer Review Summary
Fish and chips are the draw, with cod and scampi named most often. One reviewer describes a decent piece of cod in a very large portion, and another calls the scampi juicy, with chunky chips crisp outside and fluffy inside, all freshly cooked even near closing. Close behind are the cod bites and chicken chunks, which one reviewer says stayed warm on the drive home. Staff are called polite, friendly and lovely, and one reviewer recalls the team rushing to help his wife during a seizure in the shop. The complaints are specific. One diner found the chips and batter a sloppy greasy mess they couldn't eat, though the cod was delicious. Another found a battered sausage and chips overpriced for hardly any chips and a small portion. A third describes a basic kiosk where staff did not smile or return a greeting from a large group. Service is described as fast, with seating for waiting, and one reviewer who phoned an order didn't wait long on arrival despite a busy shop.

“No idea where the fawning reviews come from. It's a basic fast-food kiosk where they do not smile nor reply to a greeting from a big group of customers entering.”
