  “My friends and I visited on holiday and ordered a variety of dishes for dinner. We were served by a friendly Cornish woman, but were greatly relieved when the door to the kitchen opened and we saw several Chinese people sweating away in the kitchen. We thoroughly enjoyed the crispy beef and the beef curry; the egg fried rice was also up to scratch as were the prawn crackers (which, as expected, were free). However, the general consensus was that the chicken and prawn chow mein should not be served even to one’s worst enemies. The spring rolls were also poor - they could have been frozen items that one can buy from the frozen section at Tesco. The chicken satay was mediocre - the sauce was fairly average but the chicken was a bit chewy. The sweet and sour chicken balls were acceptable as were the chips. However, the curry sauce aided the redemption of many dishes - it was fantastic. It must be mentioned that the dishes were reasonably priced, leaving us slightly disappointed but not outraged as overall the experience was fairly neutral. If I were to return, I would avoid the chow mein at all costs and choose my dishes carefully.”

  “This is the first time I've ordered from Sun Wah and it definitely won't be the last. The service was fast, we ordered online for delivery. The portion sizes were large compared with other takeaways and the taste was amazing. Will definitely order from Sun Wah again.”

  “Don't know what's happened to this place had food from here. Chips were soggy with loads of black bits on them. Chicken was so chewy had to throw most of it away so might as well have ordered just a curry sauce. Gone downhill maybe changed the chef? I don't know but this used to be the best Chinese until now. RANK”

  “Great help on the phone. Amazing food at a very good price and super quick delivery. If we pass through the area again then we’ll be back. BBQ ribs and chicken with broccoli were particularly good.”

  “Absolutely the best Chinese I've ever ordered from. Have been using Sun Wah for the last 15+ years and having their food again this week when I visited home was a delightful break from the relatively terrible local restaurants we have. Their Sweet & Sour sauce is the best of any UK Chinese I have tried and they still sell Pork Balls (which are superior to Chicken Balls, fight me) where others have stopped.”

  “Thats a "deal" picture. Salt and pepper chicken with salt and pepper chips. Whats in the box?? Chips with few pieces of onion and green paprika. JUST!!! 7£. thats a fckn joke.”
