Customer Review Summary
Pizza is the clear centerpiece, with reviewers repeatedly praising the inventive toppings, one highlighted a “blue cheese and pear” pie, another raved about the “cheese tasting plate” and a classic margherita that felt “beautifully Mediterranean.” The stone-baked crust and locally sourced cheeses are described as “incredible,” “stunning” and even “potentially the best pizza I’ve ever had.” A few diners note a drawback: service can be “slow” and “not attentive,” requiring multiple flags for drinks and a delayed bill, and the dessert menu is limited to cheese or alcohol-themed sweets, offering no strawberry or chocolate ice cream for children. Several suggest asking for the garlic-butter dip, which isn’t listed but may be provided if requested. One reviewer caps the experience with the “incredible” view from the balcony, describing it as a memorable backdrop to the meal.

“We stopped here for pizza on our long journey home from the lake district. Impressive building to eat in, with amazing views. The room itself was really nicely decorated in a modern way. The menu is full of pizzas with interesting toppings. Both our pizzas were really good. Lovely dough and plenty of toppings, a pleasure to eat. Service was very friendly and efficient, and the prices were good. Will happily stop here again for food when we next go to the lake district!”

“We had the most amazing meal here for the last night of our holiday. The pizzas are out of this world. Our kids shared the charcuterie board and thoroughly enjoyed it. Not a scrap left, clean plates all around! The view is incredible and the whole atmosphere just makes it. Super friendly staff too. Thanks guys x”

“Absolutely love Rind. Another wonderful evening there last night. It was such beautiful warm weather that we sat out on the balcony. Not done that before. Those views!!! In terms of the food - the pizzas are incredible. We were probably full but couldn’t resist the cheese tasting plate. Went the whole hog and got one of each… Perfection 👌🏻 Gabriella, our hostess for the evening, was really lovely. She went out of her way to be friendly & helpful, and was very knowledgeable about the cheeses and the whole menu actually. She definitely made the evening more relaxed & enjoyable for us. Thank you 🤩”

“We visited Rind for lunch, keen to try their pizza and were not disappointed! The use of their own cheeses make unique flavours compared to your regular pizza selections. I had the blue cheese and pear which was incredible, my husband had the margarita, which although simple, was beautifully Mediterranean in taste. I didn't have dessert as they contain gelatine which I choose not to eat. Top ingredients are used, the drinks on offer are different to the norm too (in a good way), lovely setting and space between tables, which we needed for our dog. We will be back for half price Monday!”

“I’m going to struggle to fault this place. I love cheese and this is a serious “temple” to cheese. The cheese shop and restaurant are separate and there’s also a small bakery and wine shop on site. …”
