“Absolute cracker of a spot. Brilliant pub grub that wont leave you hungry. Excellent service and a great young lad working his socks off. Food was freshly cooked and so tasty. Staff were happy to adjust menu options to suit dietary requirements. Lovely local spot and great location with parking.”

“We visited Ratho Park for Sunday lunch and, overall, we enjoyed our meal. However, we were very disappointed by what happened when we came to pay the bill. As our group wanted to split the bill, we noticed that an extra main course had been added to the total. We politely pointed out that none of us had ordered or received this dish. Instead of checking the order first, one member of staff responded rather abruptly, saying, "You already ate it." We were genuinely shocked by this response, as it made us feel as though we were being accused of being dishonest. Fortunately, another member of staff later checked with the kitchen and confirmed that the extra dish had indeed been added to the bill by mistake. We appreciate that mistakes can happen, but the way the situation was initially handled was disappointing. A simple check before making such an assumption would have avoided an uncomfortable experience. Unfortunately, what should have been a pleasant Sunday lunch ended on a very disappointing note.”
