About Casa Di Roma
Casa Di Roma sits on High Street in Kettering, a small Italian restaurant run by a tight team that also handles the floor. The kitchen covers a wide Italian menu, from pizza and calzone with pancetta fillings to steak and mushroom pasta, ravioli and spaghetti gamberoni in a mildly spicy tomato sauce. Starters run from bruschetta to prawn cocktail, and tiramisu closes the menu. Vegetarian choices go beyond the standard margherita. Tables can be pre-booked, and walk-ins are taken on week nights.

Customer Review Summary
Diners most often single out the steak and mushroom penne, with one reviewer who dislikes mushrooms ordering it twice and another calling it to die for. Close behind are the ravioli, praised for a rich sauce, the spaghetti gamberoni with prawns in a mildly spicy tomato sauce, and a bolognese described as astonishing. Others name the prawn cocktail, the bruschetta, a creamy pasta, pizza and a tiramisu one reviewer could have gone back for thirds of. A calzone was called the best one diner's partner had ever had, better than those eaten in Italy. Reviewers also mention vegetarian options beyond a margarita pizza, fair prices, good portions and a clean, cozy room with a lovely buzz. Service is described as friendly and warm, with one reviewer noting a lone staff member ran the restaurant smoothly on a Monday evening. No complaints recur in the reviews. One diner arrived shortly before closing and still received impeccable service, and another had a chicken to pancetta swap on the calzone that was no trouble at all.

“Have never been here before even though It's been there for a while now, really warm welcome on entry was shown straight to our table that we pre booked, atmosphere was lovely all tables were filled which is always a good sign, the food was amazing myself and my partner finished every last bit, the steak and mushroom pasta was to die for, my partner had the calzone which he asked to swap chicken for pancetta, was no trouble at all for them, it was huge and filled with filling, best he's ever had and he's had plenty, we was in Italy last week and he said it came above the ones he had there, fair price for delicious food and good service, will visit again without a doubt x”

“Wow.🤩!! Where do I start? Last week was the first time I visited here I came 45 minutes before closing on a last moment hunt for food as I don’t live around the area and spotted this beautiful little sophisticated place. When I say it didn’t disappoint considering it was near closing time the service was impeccable. I ordered the Bruschetta (outstanding) steak and mushroom penne and bolognaise 🍝. Now I’m not a mushroom fan could even say hate them but this dish WOW WOW WOW (I ordered it again!) The bolognese was also astonishing. 🏆 So of course, I had to visit a second time a few days later purchasing the same steak and mushroom penne and spaghetti gamberoni insane! Prawns were delicious with a tomato and and mildly spicy sauce… chefs kiss 🧑🍳 I can’t wait to try through the menu honestly. The price is very good considering the time and dedication and ingredients it’s taken to cook these beautiful dishes. Very high quality authentic food 🤌🏼. Such a beautiful little gem i run into and will be seeing my face a lot more! I highly recommend this beautiful little restaurant run by very talented and lovely people. Do not wait to try this! & thank you for your hospitality I will see you very soon.”
