  “I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. When we arrived, there were clearly tables available, yet the front-of-house staff refused to seat us and asked us to wait 35 minutes. What made this worse was the weather — it was extremely cold and windy due to the storm, but there was no consideration or flexibility shown. To add to this, when my friend politely asked to use the washroom before leaving, the staff refused, stating that it was only for customers. This felt unnecessarily rigid and lacking basic courtesy. Overall, the experience came across as unwelcoming and unprofessional. Hospitality is not just about serving food — it’s about how you treat people. Unfortunately, this place did not reflect the warmth and generosity typically associated with Indian or Asian hospitality. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and works on improving their customer service.”

  “I visited this restaurant in the center of Keswick recently and it was a deeply unfortunate experience. We ordered two of the special curries with naan, but the food was so terribly oily that half the plate was covered in grease. The naan was remarkably chewy and the biryani was a particular disappointment. It was little more than plain rice drenched in oil and heavy food coloring, lacking any of the authentic flavor one expects from real Indian cooking. The meal left my family and me feeling very poorly. We felt quite grotty afterward, which is a word used here to describe the physical regret that follows eating such a heavy and greasy meal. It is a shame that this restaurant occupies such a prominent spot where tourists are easily lured into a miserable trap. The environment was also very loud, making the experience even more unpleasant. This place does a great injustice to the healthy and authentic meals that Indian cuisine should be. It was, quite simply, terrible.”
