About Lake Road Inn
Lake Road Inn is a pub and restaurant in Keswick, on Lake Rd, with a beer garden and wood features indoors. The menu pairs a small plates list with British pub fare, so a table can share pork belly bites in honey sauce and lamb kofte before moving on to mains like fish and chips. Homestyle British cooking sits at the centre of the kitchen, and a range of ales runs alongside it at the bar. The inn works as a bar as well as a restaurant, so drinks and food share the same room. Dogs are welcome.

Customer Review Summary
Generous portions are the main draw, with reviewers praising a massive fish and chips, nachos, lamb kofte and pork belly bites with honey sauce. A burger and hummus also earn praise, alongside a decent ale selection and friendly service. One found it average and overpriced, another disliked the beer. One diner left after extra bread for the hummus was charged for and never arrived.

“Having lived in Keswick some years ago, and having visited The Lakeroad Inn many times in the past, I was very, very disappointed in my most recent experience last weekend! My wife and I ordered the humus and beetroot as one of our starters, and when I asked one of the bar staff for some extra French bread ( as we were only served 3 very small pieces with the humus), she told me that that would be an extra £3…We waited 15 mins, and as the bread did not arrive in that time, we decided to leave The Inn. I must say, that is not ‘how I remember The Lakeside Road Inn’ in the past, and I will certainly not be returning there again! Rob. New Zealand.🇳🇿”

“Pretty average pub food and vibes. A bit overpriced for what it was but nothing wrong with it. Dog friendly.”

“Superb massive fish and chips, beer wasn’t great, service was great, a nice pub, very busy, a little cramped”

“Great nachos. Wifey had the lamb kofte which she thoroughly enjoyed. Neither of us could finish our food, generous portions!”
