“Visited The Factory Tap August bank holiday weekend 2026. The bar is in the 2026 CAMRA Good Beer Guide. and I was able to sample well looked after beer. The venue is in a tastefully modernised mill buildings, with seating outside front and rear and plenty of interior space. On the Sunday a good covers band was playing. The bar is on the edge of Kendal town centre but worth searching out. Families and children were welcome in the afternoon. The bar has a beautiful Victorian 'Temperance' banner (I'm sure the original owners would be turning in their graves 🫣). Pop in if you're in Kendal, hopefully you'll have a drier walk home than we had!”

“Lovely tap house with outside seating front and large beer garden to the rear. Two floors of seating inside with a nice atmosphere. Decor is quirky but cool with lots of recycled seating in the beer garden and some novel tables inside, some with bottle top inlays and fire extinguisher legs. Food looks nice with some quality choices of Pizzas available. We had previously eaten so didn't have the chance to try any but hopefully next time! Staff are really friendly and chatty, and the ale selection is probably the best in Kendal. Worth the visit if you're in the area.”
