Customer Review Summary
Complimentary pizza bread or garlic bread at the table is the detail diners mention most, often followed by a free liqueur, including limoncello, at the end of the meal. Close behind are the mains. The pork rolandino, peppercorn chicken, and cod fillet with lobster pasta are described as delicious or really tasty, tomato and chilli ribs start several meals, and the coffee is called very good. Reviewers repeatedly praise friendly staff, generous portions, and reasonable prices, and one describes a cozy, familiar atmosphere. The main trade-off is size. The restaurant is described as tiny, seating roughly 20 to 30, so one reviewer calls booking well in advance essential and another says to make a reservation. One found it quite noisy with customers chatting loudly, and another notes there are no white tablecloths or music. One couple who disliked the house red had it replaced with a Primitivo and the original taken off the bill.

“Came here for the first time with the missus. Service was great - checked in plenty of times to see if everything was ok. Specials board explained well, some great sounding extras! Complimentary foods given throughout, including a limoncello at the end. Portion sizes really good. Staff very friendly, prices reasonable!”

“What a lovely characterful friendly place. I've passed through and worked in Silsden in the past but never had the opportunity to enjoy an evening here. Noticed this on the drive through the village. We were toying with the nearby Indian which looked good but the other half decided she fancied an italian meal and although small and busy a table was available. Excellent value, generous portions, friendly staff and authentic Italian cuisine and wine what more can I say? Recommended”

“Delicious food. Tiny restaurant - didn't count them, but think it only seats about 20 people, so booking well in advance essential. When I was there, it was quite noisy with the customers all chatting loudly.”

“I understand there is not much food places can do other than the standard procedure for bugs etc but does no one atleast check the food before it is given out?”
