  “This was a great way to treat ourselves midweek - the steak frites were delicious and great value. I'm also not usually a sauce person for steak but the peppercorn sauce was actually an incredible accompaniment - devoured the lot! Will definitely be back to take advantage of it again! On another note, it's so positive to finally seeing some heart and soul return to this amazing local pub. The staff are always lovely, very personable and passionate about the service they provide and the new leadership (both front of house and kitchen) are clearly invested in it's success. Very excited to see what they have in store moving forwards!”

  “Was here at the weekend with my mother, was recommended to come here by a friend who lives in the village. The food was amazing! we had haggis Bon bons to start and pork belly bites and for main we got two salmon and king prawn the sauce was really good and salmon cooked to perfection lovely country pub feel with modern food would recommend highly!”

  “Lovely meal today in the restaurant.. looked amazing with all the Christmas decorations.. only downside another party of 4 who spoiled the atmosphere with oh turn the already low Christmas music down and stating loudly we had taken their preferred table!?? Shame ..staff attentive.. food amazing ..”

  “Had lunch today with my sister in law we both had cauliflower soup and the Phillycheesesteak on sourdough I can honestly say it was delicious I’ll definitely go back. Great food great staff complements to the chef ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”
