Customer Review Summary
Breakfast draws the sharpest complaints. One diner found the buffet fry up very cold and the toast machine hopeless, and noted electric cables for the hot water machine sitting in standing water. Another says sausages and bacon were burnt and eggs rock solid. One reviewer describes mac and cheese that tasted tinned with a bit of plastic in it. A diner also reports ordering two portions of pigs in blankets that never arrived after an order number mix-up at the carvery counter.

“I'm informed by the diner that the food was OK (Sunday carvery). Ugly place, disinterested service. The main issue was that I received a £100 parking fine as the registered keeper of a vehicle that the diner used when visiting the pub, as they hadn't registered the number plate. There was no obvious signage anywhere and they hadn't been told to do so. Why in heaven's name do they contract out their carpark to some scalpers like Britannia Parking? Utterly ridiculous.”

“I was in today for breakfast! The food was brilliant and the girl Kendal serving us was fantastic! She was so great with my little girl as well! We will definitely be returning!”

“Paid nearly £9 for mac and cheese that was clearly heinz out a tin, barely heated and had a bit of plastic in it. Didn't bother complaining, staff didn't seem interested in much else than getting people in and out as fast as possible. Just won't eat here again”
