  “Cheers from Brazil! Best pub experience I had in the UK after going to over 20 pubs in London, Oxford, Windsor, Edinburg and other cities. I went to Gellions two days in a row and had memorable times due to nice bands, friendly staff and cheerful crowd. I even bought their t-shirt to not forget how good it was been there those days. I really hope to get back there one day.”

  “Love this pub. Friendly and authentic. The band was amazing and crowd was so happy. Located in center of the town and easy to reach other restaurants if you wish. Try this pub if you are in Inverness.”

  “Very lively and one of a kind experience during the live music sessions. Even at 6 pm on weekends it’s full of people and energy. I came here for the first time as a tourist and I was not at all disappointed. It was a fun experience to listen to Scottish live performances. Now I live in Inverness and I come here every Saturday. Gellions Bar is the oldest venue in Inverness and features live music 7 days a week, along with an extensive range of Scottish Gins, Whiskys and Beers. They feature a wide range of cask and craft beer, with 24 taps in the building, and always have at least 8 Scottish Beers on draught dispense. From legendary house band Schiehallion, Scottish folk legends like Davy Holt, to up and coming new talent from the likes of Callum Mackenzie Jones or Ruairidh Maclean, Gellions is truly the home of live music.   “Nice place, the first impression is WOW but then you see the reception desk, which was well worn and tacky looking. It made me look for other faults. Really liked the leisure facilities, especially the outdoor hot tub and sauna. The bar area felt very welcoming and comfortable, 2 roaring coal fires. On a negative note the bar person had to hunt for a wine menu! Food was nice, although I had to ask for tge sourdough which was ment to accompany the prawn starter. Breakfast was nice, I didn't like the tea and the waitress changed it, no issue. Service was good. The beverage tray in the room was outstanding, really enjoyed tasting the various teas and the Tunnocks tea cakes/wafers.”
