“I think this place need to change its name. Cenrtainly not a Master Fryer. I don’t have fish and chips very often but they fall into the trap of not caring about offering decent chips. Fish was OK but the chips were atrocious. Regurgitated chips if you could them that and full of black bits. It’s the small things that matter and most “chippies” don’t pay attention to those things. We just threw them away and made our own in the end. Wouldn’t rush back to this place and I would be seriously thinking of a company name change to “Average Fryer” Peter”

“Bought battered jumbo sausage, steak and kidney pie and chips. The pie was just about edible being over cooked, the battered jumbo was extremely greasy and the chips were under cooked. Asked for salt and vinegar, but could not taste either, must of just shown it to the food. Definitely not buying from there again and expensive.”

“*EDIT* I revisited the business today and was pleased to see that my earlier concerns were addressed. The owner has introduced further customer service training, resulting in a significantly improved experience! Food is awesome, but the customer service is something to be desired. Went in there, to collect an order under the wifes name this evening. Stood at the collection counter. 2 young lads serving, saw me standing there, didn't ask anything, I waited patiently, not wanting to be rude and interupt. Several customers came and went and one of the lads even decided to strike up conversation with another customer, still without asking if they could help. After a couple of minutes I had to flag down one of the lads, as if I was trying to hail a cab and ask if they had my wife's order, which had been waiting there the entire time, when they realised the young lad apologised.. after a short walk home, food was cold. Love this place but I think some service training would be beneficial. Not the first time this has happened either! Happy to change my review if customer service improves!”

“Tuesday - Gluten free day & so it is! Meal for 1 - can of drink, cod, chips & even onion rings! Will try the battered sausage next time. What a delight to have a choice of options. Thank you Master Fryer. Ordering online was simple & quick. This shop is 'take away' not eat in. The staff today were pleasant, friendly & helpful. No photos of my food as I'd tucked into it as soon as my packed meal was opened!”
