About Coffee On The Green
Coffee On The Green is a coffee shop in High Wycombe, now run under new management. Coffee is the base of the menu, and the pastry offer includes pistachio muffin croissant pastries sold as "cronuts". For something more filling, jacket potatoes and paninis are available after 11:30, and a breakfast menu with a big breakfast covers the earlier part of the day. Dogs are welcome, so people out with a pet can stop in for a drink or a bite. Parking is on-street.

Customer Review Summary
Friendly, helpful staff come up most often, and reviewers pair them with good coffee and a pistachio muffin croissant described as cronuts on steroids. A big breakfast shared with friends and a lovely, cosy, dog friendly setting also draw praise, though one reviewer found a cortado served in too big a mug, more like a latte. The complaints centre on quality since the change of management. One reviewer says a sausage sandwich came drowned in brown sauce on cheap white bread, with white bread and butter instead of the brown toast ordered. Others report a poached egg and avocado that was undercooked, cold baked beans, undercooked scrambled eggs, overpriced food and drink, and extremely slow service. One calls the cafe underwhelming now. Even so, one parent describes staff going out to buy cucumber for a son's salad when none was in stock.

“This was a 5* review, unfortunately I have had to lower it. I ordered a sausage sandwich and two pieces of brown toast. I received 2 pieces of white bread and butter and a sandwich that was below par, drowned in brown sauce, on cheap white bread and cut diagonally meaning the filling fell out. Sorry guys but as the new owners you have changed too much. The packaging was insane and expensive, but the food is cheaper. We dont need toast or sandwiches served in individual boxes, with cutlery and an expensive large brown paper bag, we only need a paper napkin and cheap white paper bag. See pics.”

“Had a fantastic experience! The atmosphere, service, and food were all amazing. A special mention to Grant, whose natural warmth and welcoming personality really stood out. The food was prepared with such care, honour, and respect Highly recommended!”

“Used to be a lovely cafe but a bit underwhelming now that the managment has changed. Could have done with more effort before reopening. Perhaps it's early days still or I'm old and fussy.”

“Wonderful, very resonably priced fresh food. Excellent customer service. My son has cucumber as his 'salad'. They did not have any in when we ordered, but they went out and bought some specially to serve to my son. We will definately be returning.”
