  “Used lucky house for many years. Always good fresh food. Lately chips dried and tasting stale. I did mention to proprietor but took offence. Worrying if cutting back on quality of chips are they doing this to other products. Meat is masked by spices. Dont think i can trust anymore. Not a cheap meal anymore. Will probably use Jamie oliver fake away. Know what im eating. Shame”

  “Please stop cutting back on portion sizes! And skipping / missing ingredients in some of the dishes - we’ve noticed this the past few orders. As a customer of 9 years we are not daft!! You’re a premium Chinese offering with a premium price tag so STOP being stingy!”

  “Visiting family about 8 miles away. We decided on a Chinese. They had never been here since moving to the area so we looked online and read some reviews. This one seemed to get a lot of praise, so phoned and order through for collection. We were told 20 mins, so jumped in the car and headed there. We had already seen online that parking could be difficult, and sure enough it was. When we went in there must have been about a dozen people inside waiting or queuing. However, true to their word, our food was ready (in a box as it was a large order). Must say it was pretty damn good. A mix of sweet and Sour, chow mean, seaweed etc. All very tasty and decent portion sizes. Impressed enough to give it 5 stars. If you live local then try it out.”

  “Absolutely excellent! Our usual was closed so decided to try New Lucky House. Very friendly service, reasonably priced, and tasted fantastic. Best veg fried rice I’ve had and my dad was very impressed with the special fried rice. Perfectly seasoned, great texture, variety of veg with a lovely slight char. Cooked to perfection. Will definitely be back again.”

  “Food was alright. Kind of what you expect from a small village with little takeaways around. Egg fried rice was really good, noodles nice too. The meat in the dishes was good, the sauces were alright but not great. Sweet and sour was a bit too tangy, the pork in BBQ was different, not had it before to compare but wouldn't pick the dish again out of my choice. Beef in black bean was alright.”

  “Food didn't take long for collection, staff were polite, premises appeared clean, some parking outside and the portions were quite generous. Unfortunately the food itself was dry and rather tasteless.”
